I have had a total body itch for about 3 years. Hydroxyzine was prescribed but hasn't done much good. What can I take instead? ## Hello, Arvil! How are you? This medication may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. But what type of doctor are you consulting? If you've not seen a dermatologist, that would be the best thing to do in order to get to the root of the problem. Are you on any other medications? Have you tried changing the soaps you use? There are many possible causes, so you need to look at everything to determine what might be causing the issue.

I take xanax I have for years. I try to watch what I take so sometimes I dont take what I am prescribed I take less and the doctor knows that because I refill late every month. When the gave me a urine screen they said it came back with no xanax present so they were going to give me a blood test to make sure I was taking it. I took a half a milligram 11 hours before my drug test and had taken a quarter of a milligram 3 hours before my drug screen. Will that show up in a blood test even if it didn't my urine? They said if it don't show up in my blood screen they are going to cut me off. I don't understand how it didn'y show in my urine so now I'm scared it wont show up in my blood. I have suffered from these diseases for as long as I can remember. In the past year it has gotten worse. I know longer want to leave the house (which I don't), I don't want to be around people, I am not interested in all the things I used to be. The anxiety and and panic disorders are out of control. I take 1 milligram of the xanax 4 times a day and I take Paxil CR for the depression. For the past couple of weeks I feel like it isn't helping. I can't sleep at night without the feeling of my heart jumping out of my chest, it is hard for me to swallow, I can't sit, I can't stand because I am so ansy. I just don't know what to do anymore. For those who are asking about the Xanax pills, obviously they were not prescribed to you. If so your doctor would have discussed all aspects of what he was prescribing. Also when purchase of such prescription to you would have came with an information sheet providing all answers to the questions you are asking. Not trying to be a downer and I have made my mistakes but its really not worth taking pills not prescribed to you. You may think its harmless but I have lost 3 friends to pills. If you get out and live life you will not to take pills to make you feel good cause you will feel good about yourself already. I took a xanax 20 minutes before an interview. They administered a saliva drug test while I was there. It came back positive for marijuana. The big problem with that is I have not smoked the stuff since I was 19 and will be 35 in just a few months. Can the xanax cause a false positive for marijuana??? ## Who takes Xanax before an Interview? You probably looked very relaxed, perhaps impaired, and they thought you were under the influence? My brother had been on Xanax for 25 years or more, and the age of 58 he was diagnosed with fronto-temporal dementia. Now, 3 years later, he is a complete vegetable with 24/7 caregivers. The Ashton Report strongly suggests that Xanax, as well as other benzodiazopines, can cause severe memory loss, personality impairment and other changes in the brain that are all symptomatic of dementia. Does anyone have similar experience after long-term use of Xanax? ## The answer is possibly but not really. It should be prescribed & watched closer in older people. Also a withdrawal from the medicine can cause serious problems that can be thought of as dementia?

Those xanax that are dark blue speckles are the poorest quality xanax ever made - quite frankly they are so ineffective my friend has been having panic attacks agian every since her pharmacy switched to this dark blue brand with the blue v 2089 on them- she used to get the light blue gg"s that did there job - people we need to look into taking legal action for anyone else this has happend to this is bs that people are being deceived by this manufacturing company - they are obviously using less that quality ingredients to fake these ## There is no advantage for the company to short you on the Xanax contained in the pill. I am also on generic welbutrin. at first I noted it gave me a lot of energy but it also was affecting my anxiety. so I upped my Xanax to handle the extra anxiety and that seemed to work. I also think It was giving me restless leg syndrome. so , I started taking one third the pill one time per day. after awhile my body got used to it and now im up to two full pills per day. they are also supposed to help you stop smoking but I think im smoking more. as far as sleeping at night, I make a point to never to take one after 2pm. that way it wont effect my sleeping. but it does give you energy make you a bit hyper and can cause anxiety although I told my doctor this she treated me like I was being silly because its for anxiety and depression., I don't think it has done anything for my depr...

I have been taking Klonopin 1.0 for several years now, and it has worked great for me. Now I cannot find the name brand, and the generics do not seem to work for me. Can anyone advise me about this? ## The supply of named brand Klonopin is suppose to be available sometime this month. Look on the FDA website and type in Klonopin 2014 at the search bar near the right. In the meantime generics are available with no shortages. I've heard Teva generic is suppose to be as close to the named brand. I only tried one generic back in 2008 and I had a reaction to the inactive ingredients. Some generics work better for some people than others.

Are small, round, light blue, pills with "Clonazepam" written around, almost the entire edge of the pill legitimate or are they bogus and how many Mg's are they? Clonazepam has a half-life ranging from about 30 to 50 hours, which means it would be 150 to 300 hours, before it's out of your body. Thus, you may still experience a greater intensity of the side effects if you drink alcohol, you may feel more nausea, dizziness and drowsy than normal. One drink might affect you as if you'd had 2 and so on. Thus, it would really be best to avoid alcohol for awhile after taking it. This medication also carries the risk of being habit forming. Is there anything else I can help with?
