Saliva Test Xanax

I took a xanax 20 minutes before an interview. They administered a saliva drug test while I was there. It came back positive for marijuana. The big problem with that is I have not smoked the stuff since I was 19 and will be 35 in just a few months. Can the xanax cause a false positive for marijuana???

Who takes Xanax before an Interview? You probably looked very relaxed, perhaps impaired, and they thought you were under the influence? Xanax would not show up as Pot?
