I am on probation. I am prescribed one milligram ativan 2 times a day. My boyfriend stole all 60 that I was prescribed and I got some xanax through other means. If I were to be tested in the Probation Office will both medications just show up as benzos? Will ativan and xanax be the same in the test? My other question is, if it is xanax in my system and not the ativan, will I still be okay if I have a script for ativan since it is still a benxo?

I have been prescribed both and feel like the klonopin isnt working well when I take them together. ## Hello, Monkey mom! How are you? The caffeine is probably affecting how well the Klonopin works, since it's essentially a stimulant and the benzodiazepine is a downer. Have you tried taking them separated by a few hours? That might work better, if your doctor approves. The Typical side effects to Butalbital, Acetaminophen and Caffeine, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, stomach irritation and insomnia. Klonopin is a benzodiazepine, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.

I have had chronic disorder over the past 16 years - I constantly hyperventilate and I have lost numerous jobs due to my anxiety it has really caused a thorn in my ass from the second I was up to the second I wake up to the second I go to sleep I have panic attacks. ## I don't see where you plan to go to a Doctor, just place orders for pills. This is very dangerous as you are not qualified to make medical decisions, ordering Xanax online is a felony punishable by prison time, and you never know what you are going to be mailed. Plus the cost is much more than seeing a doctor in the first place?

My doctor wants to take me off Xanax. I have taken 1mg 3 times a day for 10 years. I take it for my anixity disorder as well as a relaxant for my skeletal muscle disorder. I need to know the names of medicines that will work the same as the xanax and that my body won't go into withdrawl. I've already lost my pain medicine last month now he wants to quit writing my Xanax. ## They say Klonopin and I did try two. Seems to work but almost the same stuff ## @con71446, There are a number of other benzo-class drugs on the market outside of Xanax. Some affect people differently than others based on their varying half-life's and sheer potency. But certain medications ending in "pam" (such as Diazepam, Lorazepam, Clonazepam/Klonopin as mentioned, etc..) seem to me like they wo...

I am already taking 10 mg buspirone 2 times per day and my doc has suggested adding 0.25 mg paxil, to further help with anxiety. Is this safe? Also, please tell me the credentials of the person responding. thanks very much. ## They both can increase your serotonin levels, which can be risky, but they can be taken together, with physician approval and regular monitoring. Since all the pharmaceutical companies buy & sell companies regularly and the pharmacies switch to the cheapest generics they can find monthly, has anyone found in the year 2015, a generic Ativan/Lorazepam that is of good quality? I only take it as needed and do not take daily. Just before Christmas I filled a script for generic Ativan and did not feel that it worked anymore than drinking a glass of water. The imprint is Watson, 241/1, white, round. My health insurance will pay for generic only. I am allowed to pay a higher copay in order to get the Brand medication if I wanted but Brand gets costly. However, since I do not take it daily, I'd be willing to pay the extra cost to know when I need it, it will work well. If anyone in 2015 has found a generic Lorazepam that works wel...

My son had an accidental overdose, but actually it was from so much damage prior. His sister NEVER called the ambulance & lives 5 min from the hospital & for the damage of him being on a ventilator, kidneys shut down, I was never told he was even in the hosp. they released him & sent him to the state hos. they also released him, he did have drugs and maybe 2 beers in his system, I talked to him that night he passed & he said he was bleeding bad from his rectum, so there was damage done & the 2 hospitals STILL released him, this was back in June on 29th 2014. Suppose to be Xanax, but have taken 4 & can't tell. Normally two .5 mg. Put me to sleep! Jus hard to believe they are really Xanax ## I can confirm the blue oval pill in description to be Alprazolam (1 mg); also known as Xanax. It is manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals Inc. Just wondering, but is the medication not doing it's job? Maybe you should talk to your doctor about other alternatives. I've heard good things about Lexapro; but from personal experience, a good natural alternative I would recommend is St. John's Wort in combination with 5 HTP. If your interested I can pull up some more information on any of the above. ## I've been prescribed the 1mg blue Xanax for years and have just received the bright blue ones from the same pharmacy and I can't ...

I take hydromorphone, both long and short acting, and diazepam plus many other drugs for chronic pain issues and anti rejection of a kidney. Recently, they started drug screening of all patients and my first test showed up saying I took Xaxax and another sedative like diazepam, ending the same, but a different one and I don't and never have taken Xanax or the other sedative. Could just the diazepam trigger results for other sedatives? I am really perplexed send concerned as I only take what is prescribed to me, and in the proper doses and I have 2 false positives for Xanax and another sedative ending pam. Anyone know why?

I have Temporal Lobe Epilepsy, with which grand mal seizures are not associated with. I have absence seizures, where you don't respond to someone calling you or you not responding to something or moving around but in a state of unable to know what you are doing. They only last a short time. They are not grand mal seizures like falling on the floor and flopping your body around and then afterwards need to sleep for long hours. I want to know which medications are good for this condition. I am on Clonazepam and Lamictal, which when they first went on the market were only for absence seizures not for anxiety or Bipolar depression like they are also now used for. What can happen if you're taking 50 mg of Hydroxyzine for itching? ## Hello, Seleah! How are you? The FDA classifies Hydroxyzine as an antihistamine that is also used for its sedative like effects, so a higher dose may exacerbate those effects and someone taking 50mgs may experience side effects, such as dizziness, drowsiness, strong sedation and somnolence. They should also only take that dosage, if that's the amount their doctor has prescribed. Are there any other questions or concerns?

These tablets are bad news. I nearly lost the plot. They are research chemicals flooded into the west of scotland. They are horrible. A friend of mine who will only take valium to get off the drink also went loopy. He told me he was bouncing of the walls but in a bad way and felt like hell. He told me ez 1.0 or 10 should be avoided. I would bin them. Horrible. No benzo in them. Something horrible. Stay clear, even if in withdrawals. They can kill you. Honest experience folks.
