I took 2 xanax .5mg and these are the only pills I've ever taken. I have a drug test in 4 wks with my Parole. I have taken xanax 3 days in a row for severe panic attack. I'm not prescribed these. I have an appt w my pain dr Tuesday. Will these show in a urine test! I have a prescription for xanax but my husband has a prescription for Klonopin...i'm getting a drug test done on the 29th and i'm afraid that the klonopin will show up...i take my husband's because they work better for me than xanax...and he barely takes klons. they are so effective for me. I'm trying to find a new doctor after my GP retired. I've got several issues I need both hips replaced both knees my spine has been declared inoperable . Have exsposed siatic nerve root exposed along w 13 heart stents and 1illact stent off femoral artery. Lft leg. Not to mention I've been passing kidney stones non stop senice 2014! Two different drugs in the same family that have similar properties ## Xanax is slightly structurally different than klonopin. The main factor being that xanax has a shorter half life than klonopin. The drug gets into your system effecting you quicker and more intensely but also leaves your system more quickily than klonopin which comes on slower lasts longer and leaves the body quicker therefore making it easier to taper off of if that time does come.

My girlfriend has an assortment of emotional problems such as bipolor,ocd,borderline personality disorder and agoraphobia. Basically it has her to where she doesn't want to leave the house because she thinks people are staring and judging her. She goes to the psychitrist once a month for her meds which are resperdal, topamax,cogentin and .5mg of klonopin. She's been taking the klonopin for about 3 months and it only works if she takes 4 of them which is the equivlent to 2mg. She is thinking of asking her dr to switch her to 2mg xanax but is deathly afraid to do it. I have been taking met xl 50 twice daily due to less saliva production. Now my mouth is burning and nose is clogged. I hope it is the side effect of met xl. I am also taking restyl 0.25 mg before going to bed. I suffer from undue anxiety without any reason and my b.p. will shoot up immediately. No complaints were found in my blood work. My liver, kidneys, cholesterol, sugar, and thyroid are less than normal. Heart x-rays are also normal, but chest pain will occur now and then due to anxiety. is anyone still having symptoms from a sudden clonazepam withdrawal. could you get any help? ## Pretty much everyone who stops this drug abruptly without weaning off, is bound to experience some sort of withdrawal symptoms. A sudden withdrawal also carries the risk of seizures. In my opinion, the best way to avoid this situation would be to talk to your doctor about setting up a tapering schedule and following that for however long it takes to safely stop using it without any repercussions. So to answer your question, yes, you can seek help from your doctor in so far as having him or her write a new script for you at a lesser dosage. Withdrawal symptoms can last weeks or even months for some people, so I think the sooner you're able to take action with your doctor the better. I hope...

LEXAPRRO ## Sorry, which are you asking about, Lorazepam or Lexapro? They are not the same drug. ## I take lorazepam sporadically for anxiety. I take 2 1 mg a day for 3 days then dont take them for a week, then 1 a day for 3 days, then none for a few weeks. Then 2 a day, then 1 here and there. It's not the ideal scene. It's a bit of a rollercoaster but it allows me to function fairly well and i can stop them cold turkey for a few months with NO WITHDRAWAL due to the way i take them. I have been doing this for 7 yrs with no addiction or withdrawal and i always get the same effect without ever having to increase my dosage also due to the way i take them. what do I do about her taking 25 2 mg xanax? ## If she's taking that many Xanax she needs medical help immediately. That dosage is so dangerously High I'm surprised she's still alive. She should only be taking one or two of those Annex 2 milligram pills. Sounds like she's an addict and doesn't want to admit it.
