I just moved to Anchorage about 2 months ago, I have had terrible social anxiety, panic disorder, and agoraphobia since childhood. I received extensive counseling throughout my life which has helped but the best treatment I receieved was Xanax, I had some anti depressants with it but my doctors told me my depression was coming from my anxiety. Since I have no mental health coverage in my insurance I can only see general practice doctors, and I gt treated like a drug addict every time I go to an appointment, I need this to function at my job, I went through, and am still going through withdrawl (anti depressants cause much more side effects then xanax, and they cause withdrawl as well) Can anybody please give me some information to lead me to a general practice doctor who will help me. My Girlfriend is 26 years old and she suffers from a huge anxiety problems and panic attacks on a daily basis. However because of her age we cant find a doctor to prescribe her xanax because so many people her age do abuse prescription drugs and sell them. We know its very addicting but she been on them for seven years and we move for about a year and was having to get them off the streets and moved back to Tenn and there a huge difference in how she reacts to daily life without them. Okay so I got a bottle of alprazolam 2mg bars they have a Y side and a 2 1 on the back I've never actually went through all my pills and looked at the scoring and put them side-to-side and flip them over to the back however some I had broken in half and needed to match them up when I did this I noticed that when I flip the pillow over some of the pills we're upside down meaning some pills had a y upwards and some had a y downwards is that normal when you're making a pill in a pharmacy for that to happen I had taken one pill today before I realized and now I'm scared ## I got a prescription and I have the same thing. I have had 2 urine drug screens w a 2 1/2 wk difference between. The first GC/MS + phenobarbital >1000ng & the 2nd + 816ng. I've never taken this drug before. The meds I do take are: gabapentin, tramadol, ibuprofen, sumatriptan, omeprazole. Hi I’m live in the Birmingham/Bessemer area I have severe anxiety and panic attacks and my doctor moved to Wisconsin. So now I’m looking for a new doctor who will prescribe me clonazapm and Xanax. Val-Torb was given to my mini doxie for a chronic condition. He weighs 16 lbs and the dosage was 1.5mls 3 times a day but it made him horribly sick and shaky. As soon as I took him off he was OK. Has anyone out there had a problem with this medication? ## What this stands for is Valium, which is a Benzodiazepine that's used for its calming effect and Torbutrol (Butorphanol), which is used to relieve pain. I don't know what the dosage should be for canines, because veterinary medications are not my speciality, but it sounds like it may have been too much of the Torbutrol for him. However, the recent changes to regulations and the push from the DEA to get better control of medications such as this means that it's most likely that a general practitioner won't prescribe it for you long-term, but instead will refer you to a specialist for counseling and medications, if needed. I was depressed I guess and took about 45-50 1 grams of Xanax (Alprazolam) at one time. I overdosed and the doctors told me its a miracle I survived and didn't have a seizure. ## The problem is Xanax is a psychological drug and this is not good to do. If you would have in fact taken 50 grams (not milligrams?) you couldn't have survived. I once was going through some problems and did something similar. I was tired of chasing Xanax every month and was not feeling to good. I now have a very large amount and will never let myself feel that bad again (I had nothing to live for or so I thought). Got my prescription filled with some dark yellow bars, almost orange with darker orange spots, had r039. Broke like chalk.. had the bitter flavor but instead of being fast-acting it took an hour and a half to kick in and was the strongest I had ever had. Leads me to think there was something else in it... looked pressed. ## Hi saurusrex, If you didn't get these from a real licensed pharmacy, my guess is that they are counterfeit as well; especially since the legitimate ones are clearly depicted as being yellow in color and NOT orange. My PCP of 15 years told me today that the DEA is wanting to start halting the doses of alprazolam for intent to wean completely off. How is this going to be possible? I am on disability for my mental health. I was attacked viciously and my alprazolam has been my anxiety med for 13 years. Anyone know where I can get precise, accurate more specific info? Looking for a Dr. in Northern Kentucky or greater Cincinnati area that will prescribe xanax while taking methadone. American generics in general have a pretty poor reputation in the rest of the world, and are priced higher than brands in almost any other country. Alprazolam has been removed from the UL NHS and is only available as Xanax brand - probably higher priced than in the US! We are forced to access our alps from other countries, the finest being found in Belgium, Argentina & Serbia. I have tried several US alps, kindly sent by kindred spirits there, but only one, the 1 & 2mg by GREENSTONE, were any good at all. Sandoz' GG249 are amongst the poorest I've had. I am, however, interested in the yellow Purepac bars, which, being owned by Actavis, who make the best generic BZDs in the UK, I imagine (and have heard) should be of fine quality.
