I'm 18 and married with an 11 month old baby. I'm always tired and never have any energy whatsoever. Even before I had a baby I noticed that I was always tired. I've always been a great weight and after having a baby I'm just as small as I was when I was about 14. I went to a psychologist and they said I had bipolar disorder. I tried Abilify and didn't like it. Then they had me on Giodon. The Giodon had horrible side effects and made me like a zombie. When I looked up symptoms for having bipolar disorder I only had 1, I would get annoyed really easily. When I began to look up other things it looked like my symptoms were leaning towards narcolepsy but once again I only had 1 symptom but it was a main one, being tired all the time. I have a round white pill one side it has L40 and the other side don't have nothing on it ## From what I'm finding, this is a 40mg Latuda tablet, which contains the active ingredient Lurasidone, it is an antipsychotic medication. Hi there my dad has just been prescribed these tablets and has been in them for a few days now and keeps having sleepless nights is there anything he can do? ## Hello, Dawn! Have things gotten any better? Insomnia is actually very odd for this one, because it usually causes the opposite problem, people taking it tend to feel very somnolent and sleep a lot. Has he consulted his doctor? This is something that should be checked out. Does he take any other medications?

Along with that he is taking skizoril 150 at night ,one bexol both at day and night. And he is also taking bupron at 150 SR at night. Hi everybody. I am currently tapering off Zyprexa. Have been on it for five years at 5 mg daily. I have been experiencing tingling or pins and needles on my feet and hands that switch around sides and sometimes disapears. I wouldlike to know if anybody has felt this while going off this med. I have been on Fazaclo for 8 years. I have been dealing with an increase appitite that my doctors says is from the Fazaclo. I fight with food every day, all day long. I gained approx. 40 pounds and cannot get the weight off. I take this med for bi polar. Everytime I try and talk to my doctor he just commends me for sticking with it. I don't want to stick with it. Subject A was sectioned under the mental health act in the UK, he had not been taking medication for a while, he was prescribed 750mg a night in hospital for 10 days, on the second night subject began to experience his heart stop and would jump up pounding his chest asking for help, put on heart monitor and heart rate was 180 or higher, high blood pressure and told it was anxiety go to sleep. my father takes the following medicine Oleanz RT 10(olanzapline), estopam-10(escitalopam oxalate tablets), cap. preganerve-m(Preagabalin with mecobalamin) he complains of heavy head and lays on bed all day.kindly suggest something to help in releif. ## Has he consulted his doctor? Generally, it's not recommended to try to treat possible side effects with another medication, because they all carry the risk of causing side effects, so you can just end up compounding the problem. The Olanzapine is an antipsychotic and it is well known to cause these types of side effects, so it may be the culprit. How badly do you react to suddenly stopping such medications? I was told this can be used for weight gain , is this in any way accurate? ## Hello, Isci! How are you? The tablet with M R5 marking contains 0.5mgs of Risperidone, which is a very potent antipsychotic, so it is not approved, nor safe to use it to gain weight. Learn more Risperidone details here. is there any contra reaction between resperidone and valerian root ## It has been reported that there could be a moderate drug interaction between Risperidone and Valerian Root. The possible effects from taking both include CNS and respiratory depression (affects breathing) - so if you need to take both then you should be closely supervised by the prescribing physician.
