My weight is 19 stone and distributed mainly around my gut, which I've heard is what antiphyschotics do. My question is, how much weight am I likely to lose after withdrawel? He was rushed to the hospital and had his stomach pumped and slept for hours on end after. Im sure if you were to down a bottle you aren't going to wake up. ## Definitely. My doc started me on Saphris to augment Wellbutrin and Brintellix for my depression. The first night taking it, I fell asleep really quickly. I woke up early but was nauseated all day. Thank goodness, it was a Sunday because I was useless for most of the day. Took it Sunday night, slept well enough but had crazy dreams. I felt okay in the AM then my head started pounding and I felt like my head was "swimming" all day. Now I am so nauseated again that I am in bed at 7:30pm. I know it takes some time for your body to get used to a new med. Tonight will only be my 3rd dose of 5mg, I don't know if it's too soon to throw in the towel but I can't be sick like this for days or weeks. Sorry I'm so long winded. Any suggestions? I was put on 20mg pulmison for 8 days two months ago. I am also on risperdal ,5 mg twice daily and 20 mg cipralex. I have never been put on cortisone until then. It was for a bad bout of bronchitis. I felt awful on it, insomnia, tense muscles etc. my bronchitis cleared up six weeks ago but I have never been so unwell in my life before. And it is continuing. I also had two sets of antibiotics at the time. Since stopping the cortisone I have body odour night sweats, dizziness, massive fatigue achy muscles and have not been able to function at all. And no, it should not be taken just to try and gain weight, it risks causing far more serious side effects, such as facial swelling, loss of balance control, depression, tremor, speech disorders, subdural hematoma and retrograde amnesia, as reported by the FDA.
