Hi! I've been taking Seroquel 200mg for 3 weeks and it's been alright, but something is happening at night that's become a concern. I wake up feeling like my chest is tightening, and I can't get comfortable. It's hard to explain. I just feel a tightness throughout my body, and my body keeps tossing and turning due to discomfort. Anyone else have a similar reaction? Is this normal? ## The FDA does report that this medication has been known to cause chest pain as a side effect in some people that take it, along with muscle aches, inability to sit or lie still, restlessness, and weight changes. Are you on any other medications? Anytime it concerns chest pain, it is always best to have it checked out by your doctor to be safe.

I take 400 mg.of Seroquel daily. I'm required to take 3 drug tests weekly and they continue to test positive for Benzo's despite the fact that I take NOTHING but Seroquel. I'm about to get kicked out of my housing for this false positive. Can anyone HELP!! ## Tom, would it be possible to get a doctors note or a pharmacists note explaining that you are being prescribed Seroquel ? I have to take a urine test mix trazodone50mg quetiapine300mg & citalopram20mg what will i test possitive for ## Probably benzos. ## it wont show up as benzo,s... trazadone, citralopam and quetiapine may give false positive for opiates. thats the quetiapine that can occasionally give false opiate positives

My daughter is 47 and 3 years ago she had 2 strokes from complications after a major vascular surgery. The MRI done at the time also revealed she had already had 2 strokes before surgery. Her personality has changed so much from the strokes. She is very ill tempered, mean and hateful. It's affecting her entire family. She is aware of the change and will apologize, but very seldom. I have been using invega 9 mg tablet and I suffered from horrible side effects of this medicine like some mentioned being like a Zambia. All I can say about invega that it is good medicine only if taken exactly as it should be. You don't have to follow your doctor prescription if you suffer from side effects try to take half of the prescribed. I took an employment drug screen, urine test. I took the test 8 days after the last 100mg dose. Will it show up? ## I take 200 mg a day sometimes more of seroquel. Ive taken 3 tests in the last 3 months. 11 panel. and NO it never shows up. I hope thats what happenend to you.

The good news for me is that the treatment I have taken, of which quetiapine (seroquel) was a part, has cured any mental illness I had. And now what it has given me in return is a massive physical problem – weight gain. I read that many people suffer from this same problem. Losing 12 kg of weight after withdrawal from stelazine 5 mg during only one year . I used to take it for 33 years. I withdrew by 0.5 MG every 45 days...with reducing daily sugar in tea cups from 6 to 2 tea spoon and stopped taking rice . and started walking for one hour daily and taking a dish of salad before lunch and taking fruit between meals. Also I stopped taking dinner and milk I am now in good health but complaining from this huge lost of weight. My weight was 93 kg in September 2015 and now 9 September 2016 it is 80.6 mg. My doc is about to change me from SEROQUEL to ABILIFY. I want to know if I am doing the right thing. Seroquel has been the main cause for my weight gain and my doc believes that Abilify is weight neutral. I also take Wellbutrin and Ritalin 20mg xr. She has also suggested Topamax. When I went to take my medication this am that had been refilled the tablet was something else. Should have been and was labelled Novo Carbamazapine 200mg. It was a medium sized white convex tablet with a "N" on one side and "100" on the other. Scored in half once. It was some sort of psychiatric medication. Any idea what it was?? ## Hello, Mimi! Can I get this online. It really helps but I can't talk and clam up with my doctor. I am not suicidal at all but so much feel internally better for the time I have it. My thoughts are less irrational and solutions are clearer and easier. Thankou

Been given this monthly in the past by someone i know, and it really helps. Agrophobia and anxiety are big problems which set insomnia. Please can I order these. I want to get back on track but can't get my feelings out to doctor because I panic then rush off out saying nothing. That is now the dose after calibrating my medicine for years. I got rid of Escitolapram. And the dose of Seroquel XR has come down from 600 mg. First and most interesting question is the following: - I used to get very strong tiredness during some evenings after taking my seroquel 300 mg. Sometimes I thought what I have done wrong.
