I woke up vomiting, with dizziness, my legs were so weak, I had a cold and hot rush, and the worst head ache. After fluids, morphine, labs and a CT scan I was sent home and was told I had a stomach flu (smh). My psychiatrist said it was a violent reaction to Prozac. He also said my PTP shouldn't have prescribed an anti depressant. I was very paranoid and I've had really low moods followed by extreme energy and insomnia among other things. He prescribed Abilify a few days ago. First day, I had no effects. I was on the edge, paranoid and even had a huge argument with a complete stranger. That night I couldn't sleep, I felt so anxious and my heart felt like it would beat too fast. I was panic...

Its the same brand, also from Walmart pharmacy, does it come from a cheap NJ company, is that why the pills do that? Why the different quality in NJ than HI?

I have had serious difficulty swallowing my meds for 2 years+. I have had to crush and put in water, chew or not take at all. Not all, but the FDA does have some they've approved, so it is always worth asking your doctor for alternative dosage forms. My mother has Parkinson's (we think) was on Sinimet and Carbadopaleva and they took her off of that and now put her on Abilify and Ultram and now she can't talk suddenly and cries and is suicidal. is there any harm if i stop my son,s dosage on risper after 3 days ? he is 23 ## According to an internet search, yes, it can be harmful to stop taking the medicine quickly even though he's only been taking it for 3 days. Talk to his doctor about taking him off of it if you don't think that it's helping, but NEVER just stop taking this kind of medication. ## Give half the dose and if OK for three days stop it but take it as needed after that. The main issue is the reason it was given, it is an antipsychotic also use for impulsivity/anger issues.
