The pills were for my cat via the vet. The pills have break lines to break in half or 1/4 (this is the cross). In the upper left of the cross is a D. In the lower right of the cross is a 8. There are all kinds of websites that dont recognize a D and 8. ## The reason they can't identify it for you is because this is a veterinary medication. Prescription medication databases only log medications for human use, the FDA does not require imprints to be logged for medications that are manufactured solely for animal use. The pill in question is called Drontal, it contains the active ingredients praziquantel and pyrantel, it used to treat or prevent several types of worms in cats. I've been to several doctors with no results helping for parasites so I went and got a mail-order prescription filled for Albenza from Combitic Global. The package came in and I received albendazole tablets ip with the brand name zenzole. They are peach and oblong tablets with a score line to split but has no markings. I eat a lot but I dont gain weight. My friends say that i should drink propan with iron.. but before that, i should make sure that i dont have parasitic worms inside my body... My question is, is it still effective if i drink propan even if i have parasitic worms in my body? Why wouldn't this work? 1% Ivermectin solution is commonly available from feed stores. ## Hi ralft, From what I could gather, Soolantra is just another brand name for Ivermectin, but is reported to come in the form of a topical cream as opposed to the generic liquid solution you're describing. What purpose are you using it for though? The MayoClinic lists Ivermectin as being used for treating worm infections, diarrhea, and onchocerciasis (also known as river blindness). However, some other sites go on to note that the topical form may be used for rosacea as well. I have a puppy weighing 2.5 pounds and was given a triwormer that they say is Drontal. It looks like a heart shape that was scored in half but has an "R" imprinted, pale yellow in color. ## Hello Cindy, I did just a bit of research on the pill you described and I found a Drontal pill that is a freeform bone shapped pill with a score in the middle. If so then I was able to identify the pill. I believe what you have is a Praziquantel 23 MG Oral Tablet.
