Found these in my car...white dime size pill/tablet with a risen rim around the outer edge and a capital L in the center, nothing on the other side? ## This was a difficult pill to identify! But I did find an exact match to your imprint and description. It is Oravig (50 mg); also known by it's generic name "Miconazole". Can I drink alcholic beverages on this once I've started application on affected area ## Yes. It's only an anti-fungal and steroid. Alcohol will have no interaction with that cream. ## What has your doctor, or pharmacist advised? I wouldn't agree and say there would be no effect, because your body does absorb some of the medications, it's just that the effects would be very slight, as compared to medications that you take orally and absorb much more of in your body. Another issue may result from the fact that the alcohol can thin your blood and affect your circulation, it may result in your absorbing more of it, than normal.

I have Icaden cream, what is this used for? ## From what I've found, it contains the active ingredient Isoconazole, which is an antifungal medication, so it would most likely be used to treat yeast infections. I really don't have a lot of information on it, since it isn't available in the U.S. Where was this prescribed?

can i use the dermacombine w/o prescription of my ob..bcoz apparently i am out the country right now..then this is my 2nd time to have anti fungal infection to my vagina..but i am aware that nystatn can helps a lot my itchy and discharge problem,,bcoz before in my last pregnant i had infection,,then i remember the meicine prescribed my doctor is nystatin,,can u gaurranty that dermcombine can helps me d same thing?

I was given this med for thrush. I have been on predisone for emphesema and I developed thrush. I got a headache and dizziness. ## This is more than one medication, are you saying you were given all of these? The Nystatin is an antifungal medication, so it is appropriate for treating Thrush, since it's an oral yeast infection. The Diphenhydramine is sometimes given, if the yeast infection is causing dizziness, since is an antihistamine. However the other 2 are not normal treatments, so you would need to ask your doctor why they prescribed them. The Hydrocodone is a narcotic and that's probably what caused the headache and dizziness. And the Tetracycline is an antibiotic, these are not usually given, because they can cause, or worsen these types of infections.

This medication has caused me sever tounge pain. sore tender and all white. My infection has cleared up but my mouth hurts realy bad feels like a=i have a large amount of acidity inside. ## This medication dis the same to my husband who was taking it for a UTI, bladder and kidney infection. It did not clear up the infection and now he cannot seem to get rid of the 'thrush' in his mouth which is actually a growth caused by this med killing the good bacteria and allowing it to happen. try taking acidiphilus or any good probiotic.... ## You should get a prescription from your doctor for troche or for a liquid called Nystatin. Salam, i have an itchy scalp and i think it's a fungal infection cux i have had it once before. Can you tell me what to do with it? my hair's falling out and i have been nearly bald once. I tried Conaz shampoo today. Is it effective? It's itching so badly cux of one of it's side effects mentioned on the enclosed leaflet. Can you suggest some alternative medication? been to docs, not worked. Are there any pills i could use for it? Can IP 272 be givn o treat athletes foot ## I honestly don't think you need medication to treat athletes foot; just proper home treatment and not walking around barefoot in gyms or other public places that can prolong the condition should be enough. Garlic is a great antifungal antiseptic. There are several ways you can use the garlic to treat athlete's foot. 1. Crush a couple cloves into small pieces and add a small amount of rubbing alcohol and water; soak foot for at least a half hour. 2. Crush several cloves and add to olive oil for 2-3 days. Then rub the mixture all over foot. (I found this to work the best because the olive oil keeps the skin moist) 3. The pharmacist filled my perscription for Terbinafine 250 mg. The bill is very light beige,almost whit...but not white and it has the making og 501 and it is a round pill. i cannot find this as being a generic of lamasil. pls. research. ## They actually call it a pale pink and yes, it does contain 250mgs of Terbinafine, which is an antifungal medication.
