Nystat Hydroc Tetrac Diphen

I was given this med for thrush. I have been on predisone for emphesema and I developed thrush. I got a headache and dizziness.

This is more than one medication, are you saying you were given all of these?

The Nystatin is an antifungal medication, so it is appropriate for treating Thrush, since it's an oral yeast infection.

The Diphenhydramine is sometimes given, if the yeast infection is causing dizziness, since is an antihistamine.

However the other 2 are not normal treatments, so you would need to ask your doctor why they prescribed them.

The Hydrocodone is a narcotic and that's probably what caused the headache and dizziness.

And the Tetracycline is an antibiotic, these are not usually given, because they can cause, or worsen these types of infections.
