My prescription states 3 once daily for 3 days, do I take all three at one time or 3 thru out the day? ## Hello, Sue! How are you? I understand your confusion. From what you've written, as listed by the NIH prescribing instructions, that would be taking 3 at once, once a day. However, what medication has been prescribed? If you can post back with this information, I'll be better able to help you. Thanks! ## I take trazadone and sertraline once a day. Could I take Contrave? I did one time. I didn't get much results, with appetite help. I do have some left. In one place it has expires 2018, then 2016. Please help me out. I need to lose weight!

i have been taking serta for 5 years. i think i have got addict of it. what are the side effects of it? ## iwant to know about serta. how long one can take it? and what is the side effects of it, ## Sertraline is an SSRI antidepressant, unless you are abusing it, you are not addicted, thought your body may be dependent on your current dosage, so an abrupt cessation of the medication would result in withdrawal effects. As to how long it is safe for you to take it, that can only be decided by your doctor. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and headache. You can read more here: Is there anything else I can help you with? ## i m pregant, what's the side effect of Serta 50 tablets and Nexito 20o pregnancy ## Hii I have been undergoing depression treatment for ...

Is daxid equivalent to zoloft can I use the zoloft as a equivalent to daxid ## Yes, they both contain the active ingredient Sertraline, so they are interchangeable, as long as the doses are the same. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and weight gain. Is there anything else I can help with?

i used. levosulpiride for about 4-5 months... and i stopped using it later... but i feel depressed now a days ... is it because of stopping levosulpiride... ## Yes, if you stopped taking it abruptly, it may cause rebound depression and anxiety, as well as diarrhea, fever, and chills, according to the NIH. Why did you stop taking it? Are you on any other medications?

Can I change from Camcolit to Wellbutrin as I have gained a lot of weight!!!!! I am on a high dosage in the morning and evening of Camcolit. I feel very unhappy about that . I feel I should be able to take Meds that doesn't affect the way I feel about myself and look.I want to loose weight and read that Wellbutrin helps weight loss ## Hello, Cheri! How are you? I am very sorry about the issue you're having from the Camcolit. However, I have to caution against switching, without your doctor's approval and assistance. These two medications are not completely interchangeable, since Camcolit is actually a mood stabilizer and Wellbutrin is an antidepressant, as classified by the NIH. While they can sometimes be used to treat the same conditions, only your doctor can decide if it ...

Hi, this is my second time trying Effexor. I was on it for several years a while ago, but went off as I got to the highest dose and it still stopped working after a while. Since then I've tried several other drugs to very little improvement, as well as ECT and rTMS, neither worked. Of course I've tried counselling and CBT, and mindfulness as well, but my brain is not even in a place where I can begin to implement those things. So, I believe that the Effexor is beginning to possibly help. I haven't had a major low in a few days, I'm actually able to push myself a little to do some stuff. I even tidied up a bit! First time I've really been able to do that in 6 months. Major problem though... most of the side effects I'm getting are deal-with-able, dry mouth, etc. B...

I would like to know how to switch from Bupropion HCL XL 300 to Contrave 8/90? I have been taking Bupropion for years. I want to switch over to Contrave. ## Hello, Jessie! How are you? The main issue is going to experiencing some withdrawal effects, since Contrave contains less Bupropion, but your doctor should be able to help you make the switch. You may need to do a taper, before starting the Contrave. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, and nervousness. Has anyone else made the switch? If so can you detail how it was done?

My pharmacy gave me Bupropion XL 300 mg by Par. I thought I'd managed to take every generic Bupropion out there, but this is new to me. I'm not finding a lot of information on line. I know everybody may respond to something differently, but I'd be interested in reading any comments from folks out there who have tried this formulation. I seem to respond at least a little differently to each generic I take, and have had one or two that caused big problems. ## Hello, Lainey! How are you? I understand what you're saying, some people can be sensitive to any slight fluctuation in a medication, I am one of them. There have been several people that have complained about the Par Bupropion, but not all. We are all different, so the only thing you can really do is try it and see ho...

How long will it take for nausea to subside? I have been taking 20mgs a day for two days now and it is quite bad. ## Hello, Kellie! I am very sorry about the problem you're experiencing. That can be a normal side effect of this medication, as reported by the NIH, you may also experience dizziness, headache, mood swings and weight changes. They should start to improve, then go away entirely, once your body gets used to the medication, but that may take 4 to 5 weeks. Are you on any other medications?

Hi everyone, I am taking Prozac generics and wondering about preferences in manufacturers. I believe the 20mg of Activist is not performing very well. My pdoctor has increased to 30mg by taking 3 10mg and would like to get a reputable manufacturer. Also would like to know about experience from people who were given Latuda to use with it. He gave me a sample pack but have been afraid to take it. ## I currently take the capsule manufactured by Aurobindo Pharmaceuticals for perimenopause symptoms, which include anxiety, and it works very well for me. I take 20mgs in the morning and 10mgs at night. I can't say how well it will work for you, though, since we are all different. Why do I have tons of energy after taking trazodone? I can't sleep at all when I take this medicine. It's like I'm on methamphetamine or something. ## Sometimes, for unknown reasons, medications have the opposite of their intended effects on some people that take them, the NIH and FDA both have several reports archived about this. It's the same as how some people experience depression, when taking an antidepressant, or how some stimulants calm some people. Have you informed your doctor?

Hello, I'm not sure if this is common or not, over the last 4 or 5 years I was on wellbutrin off and on,(mostly on). In the past when I started up again, I always knew it was working because for the first roughly two weeks I would get all the common side effects: Insomnia, tremors, anxiety, even a little paranoia, and of course loss of appetite. After about 2 or 3 months I usually would loose a good 15 pounds or so while taking the medication. Do to an insurance issue I was off the medication for about year. Recently (almost 3 ago now), I started taking my usual dose of 300mg a day again. However, this time around I feel no side effects at all? Could this mean I either built up a tolerance or the medication is going to stop working for some reason? Obviously I know I should really gi...

I have been taking amitripfyline 100mg for about 3 years. My doctor has switched me to Cymbalta 60mg and I seem to be having some nasty withdrawls. My head feels all fuzzy and I'm having zapping sensations. i don't feel like myself. Does anyone know something I can do about it? ## Hello, Kristi! How are you? Has anything changed? It is normal to experience side effects, when stopping one medication, according to the NIH, you are also likely experiencing side effects from starting the new one. I've been taking 50 mg of nortriptyline for chronic nerve pain for a few years now. I started on Wellbutrin XL 150mg 10 days ago, taking it at 9pm nightly with my Lamictal. I'm exhausted, irritable, and depressed in the evenings. I know it takes up to a month for the Wellbutrin to take full effect, so could the medication be wearing off around 7? I feel like a functioning member of society (finally!!) during the day, but my poor SO is still seeing the grumpy, shut down woman in the evenings. ## It might not be the best for you, there are higher ones your doctor can prescribe for you.
