Trazodone Causing Energy To Be High

Why do I have tons of energy after taking trazodone? I can't sleep at all when I take this medicine. It's like I'm on methamphetamine or something.

Sometimes, for unknown reasons, medications have the opposite of their intended effects on some people that take them, the NIH and FDA both have several reports archived about this.

It's the same as how some people experience depression, when taking an antidepressant, or how some stimulants calm some people.
