First day I took 30 mg and I had a headache, disorientation, very high pulse rate felt like my heart would beat out of my chest. ## Did you mean you are taking it and you are also diabetic? My 12 year old son began taking celexa 10 days ago (10 mg). The results are awesome. His mood is much better, no sadness, more talkative, excitement and joy seems to have returned. This morning after a couple hours at school he told me that he was getting like quick electric "zaps" in his head. They only last a second. He says they are like when someone touches you after "rubbing their feet on the carpet" type zaps. I've googled, and all I can find is that these are withdrawl symptoms from celexa. Has anyone else experienced this at the start up of this medication? Loving the results until this happened. Hoping they don't need to change his meds and this will go away. ## That can happen when someone is new to taking such a medication, it is not just a withdrawal ...

Well, I'm 17 and I'm an adolescent!! So I won't to make sure this medicine isn't for adults only. And I've been overemotional and sensitive all my life. Depression is very common in my family. I've never taken an anti-depressant before. My depression is caused by a chemical imbalance in the part of my brain that controls my emotions and how I feel, which is made worse because I was born premature. I also have trouble sleeping and getting motivated every day. So I want to know if the medicine called Rispadol is right for me and won't have any lasting side effects on my behavior or make me feel more depressed. Your help would be much appreciated!! ## Did you mean Risperdal? It is a potent antipsychotic that is used to treat various mental health issues, as well...
My pharmacist changed my rx to this when I picked it up a few weeks ago. I just looked up the numbers MX33 tonight. I thought I have been going crazy. 100% NOT effective. As if I was not on one at all. Crying, thinking crazy thoughts. I thought it was hormones. Unbelievable. I almost quit my job of 8 years today. I just read several webpages of people saying this exact thing. I called my pharmacist. I am pretty angry. ## Hello, Ann! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem you're experiencing. This tablet is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 40mgs of Citalopram, which the FDA classifies as an SSRI antidepressant. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight gain. To avoid this problem in t...

This thread is to discuss Ibogaine as a means to treat Depression and Pain Management, including, but not limited to, anxiety, IBS, joint pain, brain fog, shortness of breath, backpain, FMS, CFS, anhedonia, sleep problems, racing thoughts, loss of libido -- symptoms which are often associated with depression. I would like to start a discussion on the subject since there is a lack of information regarding Ibogaine as a viable treatment option for Depression. Most information on the web only deals with Addiction treatment. This is an off-shoot of the thread Ketamine for Depression. You can find more information regarding my past history with depression and avenues of treatment that I've pursued in that thread (for example see post # 392 over there). Ibogaine. Ibogaine is the root bark...

If so, Sandoz lists them as containing 0.5mgs of Lorazepam, which is a generic for Ativan, it is a benzodiazepine that is used to treat anxiety, and nervous disorders. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as dizziness, headache, irritability, and dry mouth.
I found this white round pill with WPI 839 on it can you tell me what it is. ## WPI 839 is 150 mg Bupropion sustained release ## Marco is correct, this medication is commonly used as an antidepressant, and as a smoking cessation aid. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, nervousness, insomnia, headache, and nausea. I tried it once, years ago, and it made me feel like I had drunk multiple pots of coffee, I was almost bouncing off the walls, so I was told to stop taking it, and never take it, again. What experiences have others had taking this medication?

How are you feeling? In cases like this, I really can't stress the importance of seeking emergency medical attention. If there is a chance that your life may be in danger, no one can provide you with life saving efforts over the Internet. I wish we could, but it's just not possible. Overdosing on this medication could cause liver damage, or failure, which has the potential to be fatal if left untreated. Thus, it is very important to see a doctor immediately. ## I had taken several tablets out of depression. What are the chances that I co...
Has anyone noticed a difference between the two manufacturers of Duloxetine X 20 and Teva 7543. They are supposed to be the same (just different manufacturers), however, I'm noticing the X 20 doesn't seem to work as well for my fibromyalgia. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Thanks ## Sorry...I meant X 02. I typed the incorrect order accidentally. ## They both contain 30mgs of Duloxetine, according to FDA listings. It is often used to treat depression, some forms of nerve pain, panic, and anxiety disorders. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, mood changes, and weight changes. Thank you, Julie, no worries about the order, people do that frequently. Hello, I have been going to physiatrist and getting brintellix for about 3 months. Before taking any meds I constantly having suicidal thoughts very frequently. Then I start to go to physiatrist and taking brintellix 5mg for about 2 months, I was getting better until they change brintellix dose to 10mg. Now I’m back to where I was before taking any meds, getting worse and worse. Do anyone know how to help and why? ## I found the same when I went from 5mg to 10mg it kinda made intrusive thoughts amplify I have found after about 8 weeks that 5mg is best taken at night that way I dont get the nausea and just feel relaxed even 2.5mg would be ok for me I think.. ## The NIH does warn that these issues can be a side effect of this medication, and it is normal for them to worsen, when you...
what does amitriptyline come up as in a false positive drug test? ## Will Elavil (amitriptyline) show any results on hair drug test? I take it for insomnia. 25-50 mg a night. ## I take amitriptyline but my drug screen also shows nortripyline. I don’t understand these tests, but I’m trying to. Both drugs seem to do the same thing. ## So 30 mg of Amitriptyline is taken every night which is considered a TCA. I've been taking a weekly Urine Analysis for over 4 months and have had over 23 consecutive positives for Flexeril and I've never taken it in my life. Is it possible that taking that much Amitriptyline a night could be producing this false positive even when they are being sent to a lab? Also, if so please provide some backing evidence.
I was on Trintillex for about 3 weeks and developed a rash all over my body. I didn't know where it was from originally so I did not stop taking it. After about 21 days I decided to stop taking it because my doctor said it could be a potential side effect. My rash is so severe and I have been off of the medication for about a week now but the rash won't subside. Does anyone have an idea of when it will go away? I know the half life is 66 hours so I am nervous it's going to be in my system for a long time and the side effects won't go away. I was taking 5 mg. If anyone has any ideas of when it will go away or how to help it/ make it go out of my system faster PLEASE let me know. Thanks ## Julia! I am so sorry about the problem you've experienced. How are you doing, no...
i take wellbutrin, paxil. kolatapin, and adderall could they thin your blood ## dose wellbutin thin your blood ?? ## No, that is not a normal side effect of these medications. The FDA lists them as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, nervousness, and weight changes. Are you having an issue with blood thinning? Are these the only medication you are currently taking? What are your diagnosed medical conditions? There is really no way to say how any medication will affect anyone that tries it, so it can't be 100% ruled out, but it is unlikely that the listed ones would cause any dangerous blood thinning.
I was on 10 mg of Brintellix for about 4 months and then my doctor added 10 mg of Rexulti. I felt like i was being stimulated. He then upped my Brintellix to 20 mg and my anxiety went crazy. I was having racing thoughts and couldn't sit still. In my mind i had to be doing something all the time. I also started having panic attacks. This was only over a 2 week period. I then dropped back to 10 mg and cut my rexulti to 5 mg. I told the doctor I wanted to switch back to celexa. He told me to just stop the Brintellix and start the celexa at 10 mg. It's been about 2 weeks now and I still have panic attacks and I wake every morning feeling anxious which last most of the day until the evening. I can't handle this anxiety. I feel amped up. It's like the side effects are continui...
