I have taken 30mg of Lexapro for past 4 years. After the deaths of my son and his wife in a plane crash the depression and anxiety were more than I could bear. This past May I was changed to the generic escitalopram. God Forbid!!!! What a nightmare. Within three weeks I was suicidal, I was going through SSRI withdrawals which are vicious. I am now paying over $225.00 per month for Brand Lexapro as my insurance will NOT cover it even with prior auth or any other reason. My Medicare Advantage plan leaves a lot to be desired even though I pay a $152.00 per month premium. Has anyone else had problems with the generic Lexapro? Hi! I am on lexamil 5 mg daily for a week before that wellbutrin 150 mg and 5 mg lexamil for 4 weeks before that wellbutrin 300 mg for 2 years. Weaning from the Wellbutrin because dr feels that it increases my anxiety, which is my main problem. Can these meds lead to alcohol blackouts? One minute fine to next minute waking up with memory loss. My memory is really bad on day to day basis. I have being taking Nuzak for about 3 weeks now. I have not experienced any severe side effects. I am sleeping better and not feeling like I can't cope with everything. However, I have put on about 3kgs even though I have cut down on my carb intake, Is weight gain a side effect of Nazuk. ## No, that is not a typical side effect of Fluoxetine, that active ingredient in Nuzak, according to NIH reports. It is most commonly known to maintain weight, or to cause weight loss, well as nausea, dizziness, headache, mood changes, and dry mouth. what is purple and green pill marked g-fl 20 ## This is probably a Fluoxetine (Prozac) capsule from a company in New Zealand called Pacific Pharmaceuticals. The purple side has symbol that looks like a Q if you look at it up-wise. The green side has FL 20 on it, for Fluox 20mg. ## Mylan Pharmaceuticals lists 20mgs of Fluoxetine, which is a generic for Prozac, it an antidepressant, that is also used to treat anxiety. I have been taking Remeron for 2.5 months and will have a hair drug testing tomorrow required by my new employer. I saw the above posting and worry about getting positive result for amphetamines. Will hair drug testing detect remeron? Will the company trust me not taking amphetamines if I show them the doctor's prescription of remeron? Will the company deny me because of taking remeron? I've recently been to visit my doctor about my anti depressants. I've been getting CITALOPRAM 30MG DAILY, but they wasn't working anymore. My doctor has started me with SERTRALINE 50MG DAILY, INCREASING TO 100MG next week. I've been informed of some people that these are also prescribed as an anti phycotic, please can someone who knows about these things please help me out with the truth? ## Sertraline is classified as a selective serotonin uptake inhibitor, it is used to treat depression, and anxiety. Hi. I was on Lexapro for 3 years. I started on 10mg and as my life at work continued to get worse I went to 20mg, but I never realized till I weaned off the drug how apathetic it made me. I was a fit, energetic, thoughtful person. While it helped with my anxiety it managed to withdraw my appetite for life in general. I actually alienated those I loved and I started drinking more and not worrying about the effect it had on others. I just didn't seem to care. Has anyone else experienced this effect? I am no longer anxious, l feel more alive after coming off it and ready to meet new challenges. Ive been on a comb of lexapro 20mg, and synthriod 50mcg for years now.. Ive been battling depression for awhile now. Ive been on everything under the sun for depression and anxiety. I've noticed an increasing despondency despite taking 200mg of Sertraline/day. This has increased over the years. I don't know what brand I'm taking but I'm pretty sure the brand is not as good as what I was taking in the past. Will have to call Costco tomorrow to find the brand. My tablet is yellowish with a weird sign on one side and a "1" and an "8" on each side of the perforation on the other side. Cannot manufacturer name on bottle. Ever heard of North +?
