Difference Between Lexapro And Lexamil

what is the difference between these two drugs. i started without warning to get missing memory, confusion,migraines, back and neck pains, temper out of control, withdrawn, flu like illness which seems like allergies which i never had, cough out of controling for a certain time. saw a piece on Lexapro which has these systems but what about lexamil which is a similiar drug?

I was on Lexamil in South Africa. Moving on to Australia a doctor said I can use Lexapro which is the same type of anti-depressant. Is that true?

My daughter was taking Lexamil in South Africa and has moved to USA, where she was prescribed Lexapro. She's having side effects now with the Lexapro. What is the difference between these two meds?

Both medications contains the same active ingredient, which is Escitalopram. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, mood swings, headache, and weight changes. It is used to treat depression, anxiety, and some other mental health issues.
