Most likely the '90' was simply read upside-down. This is a generic version of Celexa manfuactured by Sandoz [1], containing Citalopram 20 mg. Once a medication is available for generic production, it can be made by many different manufacturers and each tablet must have a unique imprint code on it to enable identification of manufacturer, active ingredient and dosage. There is NO weight gain, I actually have no desire for food, but I have to eat. Sexually it may slow things down, but doesn't effect me. I have felt nausea, but otherwise feeling great! I just started taking the lowest dose of Amitriptyline (1x daily) to try to help me sleep. My concern is I've been taking Citalopram 20mg (1x daily) for over 5 years now. As soon as my terrible sleep pattern regulates I'll go off the Amitriptyline. I have recently been prescribed Imipran, only 25 mg as a daily additive for my fight with fibromyalgia pain and the migraines that go with them, my biggest fear is that the hang over feeling in the morning won't go away...any suggestions as to handling this side effect. I've just tried Cymbalta for 90 days. From the first it greatly helped my diabetic neuropathy in my feet. However after 2 months, I started gaining weight, and having irrational thoughts. I also had a bad taste in my mouth. I tapered off the drug for my own mental well being. I'm looking for another anti-depressant that doesn't have these side effects. ## These are common side effects to this medication, however, not everyone experiences them. This is an SSNRI antidepressant, so you may want to speak to your doctor about just trying an SSRI or perhaps an MAOI. Has your doctor made any suggestions?
