Imipram Hcl Tab

I have recently been prescribed Imipran, only 25 mg as a daily additive for my fight with fibromyalgia pain and the migraines that go with them, my biggest fear is that the hang over feeling in the morning won't go away...any suggestions as to handling this side effect. I have a hour commute to work each morning so it makes it difficult. any suggestions?

Imipramine is a trycyclic antidepressant that is also commonly used to treat some types or nerve pain and migraines.

How long have you been taking it? It does take several weeks for the medication to reach its full efficacy in your body and it will also take a month or more for the side effects to start to taper off as your body adjusts to the medication.

If it is really problematic, the only thing I can suggest is speaking to your doctor about it.
