I have celiac sprue and am taking the salmon-colored generic: citalopram 20 mg. Does it contain gluten? The drug did not show up on the gluten-free drug list, but Celexa (non-generic) was listed as gluten free. ## I also have started taking Citalopram 20mg. Have you found out for sure if it does not contain gluten. I feel I am having stomach issues and wonder if this is the result of the generic form of Celexia, which I'm told IS gluten free. I am 36 and have bipolar II disorder and suffered from it with major depression episodes for the past 20 years. I use Effexor 150mg and Epitec 200mg daily for 3 uninterrupted years now and I use it religiously. I'm very happy with the results and I live a normal life without problems at last! I suffer no major side effects other than inability to have orgasms during sex. Is there any way around this problem or anything I can use to help? I don't want to change my meds, obviously cos it works for me. Please can you advise?
