I just started taking amitriptyline 7 months ago for migrains. It started to help in the begging but now 7 months later it isnt doing much. i am on 20mg daily. Is anyone else taking this medican for migrains and if so let me know what you think about it. ## It seems like you need to increase dosage. I read that it's possible to take 150mg daily.(says it on the box). But you might not need that much. my dr has prescribed me xet cr 12.5. i m taking and getting benefited but i want to discontinue it. kindly guide me how i can ? ## Xet CR contains the active ingredient Paroxetine, this is an SSRI antidepressant. Have you spoken to your doctor about discontinuing this mediation? Since it is an SSRI, if you stop suddenly, you could experience withdrawal effects, such as: nausea, diarrhea, headaches and chills/fever. In addition, there could also be rebound effects, such as worsening of the condition you were taking it for and suicidal thoughts and tendencies. These medications usually require a very slow taper to stop using them.

TABLET ## I'm sorry, what country are you in? Ventab is not available in the U.S., but in several others and, depending on which one, the ingredient is different. There are some countries in which it contains Venlafaxine, an antidepressant. And others where it is an asthma/COPD medication that contains Albuterol.
