What will happen to my baby newborn if I breastfeed and use Lexamil? ## Hi corrie, Lexamil contains the active ingredient Escitalopram; which can cause harm to the fetus if it is used during the last 3 months of pregnancy. The pregnancy warnings for this drug also note that one should not breast-feed while taking Escitalopram, since it is excreted into human milk. Apparently, there have been two reports of infants experiencing excess somnolence, decreased feeding, and weight loss in association with breast-feeding from a Escitalopram- treated mother. The decision to continue or discontinue either nursing or Escitalopram therapy should take into account both the risks of Escitalopram exposure to the infant and the benefits of Escitalopram therapy for the mother. The results of two case r...

I found a pill on the floor in my spare bedroom inside the closet. It is white and oval cut in half, so its hard to identify it on pill identifier.com. One half has PI and the other half side has 17. Anyone know what this is. ## WIth only a partial imprint, it is going to be difficult to determine exactly what this might be. There are several possibilities, both among prescription products and over the counter items. The best advice I can give is that you just dispose of it properly. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? ## @Girl26, There are 15mg Mirtazapine tablets with a similar description to what you had been able to identify. The full imprint on these tablets contain "WPI" on one side and "11" and "17" on the other side, separated by a vertical score line...

Is anyone having trouble with the new generic for Wellbutrin? It doesn't seem to be working as well. I hesitate to go back to the original Rx since it is so expensive. HELP. ## i just took generic and don't know it that's the reason I have been feeling more energy and some wakefullness at night. ## There are many people who have been having a problem with it, though the FDA says the differences are insignificant. In reality, generic medications DO NOT have to be exactly like their name brand counterparts. They are allowed to differ in the ACTIVE ingredient by plus or minus 20%. In addition, the ingredient used DOES NOT have to be the same, they only have to prove that it is 'biologically equivelent' and works in the body in the same manner as the name brand did. The ...

I Was Put On Zoloft And Xanax But Have Recently Stopped Taking Both Because Need To Find A Jobhow Long Before It Is Out Of My System ## If you have a valid prescription for them, then there is no need to stop either one, just because you are job hunting and may be drug tested. They cannot deny you the use of legally prescribed medications, except in certain very rare instances, so you simply need to inform them of what you are taking, when you are tested. Learn more Zoloft details here. Learn more Xanax details here. Additionally, the Zoloft contains the active ingredient Sertraline, which is an SSRi antidepressant and is not something that would be tested for on a standard drug test anyway, so your stopping it is really unnecessary. My perscription for bupropion SR 150mg tablets - I understand what all that means. I want to know what the SA in front of WATSON LABS means? does this mean it was made in South Africa or South America? My pharmacy has switched something and my generic used to be a purple round pill and is now a white round pill. ## The SA stands for sustained action, it's just another way of designating that it's a time released formulation of the medication. It means the same thing as the SR in your prescription, which stood for sustained release. Learn more Bupropion details here. Are there any other comments or questions?

Okay so ive been taking viibryd for about 5 days now. I was on celexa for 10 years before this and have been experimenting different medicines the past couple weeks to find someone to avoid weight gain and other side effects. This medicine really works well for mood. However, the past 5 days ive been experiencing headaches and nausea as well as having a difficult time sleeping. Im hoping those side effects go away soon though. I have high hopes for this medicine. I also experienced a bit of gas and going to the bathroom more. (nothing too excessive) . I've felt a bit light headed at times though and my vision is ever so slightly blurrier. This medicine definitely must be taken with food... my appetite hasn't been too consistent either. I seem to be very sensitive to medicines th...

I have been taking prozac and norco for over a year now and i've had lots of problems with pain control. We thought it was just tolerence build up. Now I am reading that prozac can keep the body from absorbing hydrocodone correctly. I cant seem to find a definite answer, not even from my pharmacist. Please any help would be welcome! I did several searches and checked noted interactions in our various resources and didn't find anything. ## i can't believe( I take the same combination), and just read that because of a possible CYP2D6 it's an enzyme in certain people, and it inhibits codeine to work mixed with prozac.Read Codeine under wikipedia.I'm ha...

I've been prescribed mirtazapine 15 mg for insomnia but have only taken it once. Took it lateon Saturday night and couldn't get out of bed till 3:30 the next day! Very groggy and spaced out, back to bed at 10, in and out of sleep all night, still groggy the next day, early to bed and again in and out of sleep all night, both times with very vivid dreams. I'm afraid to take it again as I have to be up at 6:30 for work! How long does it take to get out of the system, and would these side-effects lessen? Also, I've read that it's less sedating at higher doses? I don't know whether to try a lower dose or a higher one! ## To be honest, if it has affected you that much for that long of a time period, it probably isn't the right medication for you.
