It may cause side effects, such as weight gain due to stimulating the appetite, as well as drowsiness, dry mouth and blurred vision. Interestingly enough, there's a specific listing in the monograph that says it's also used to stimulate the appetite in anorexic cats...who knew? Are there any questions I can help with? More Mirtazapine details can be found here.

To clarify, did you mean to say "bi polar" and "fibromyalgia?" If so, I know from personal experience and from doing research that exercise can help both of those issues. In fact, a 2007 study in the Archives of Internal Medicine found that women with fibromyalgia in a four-month exercise program reported significant improvements in physical function, fatigue, and...

I need to know the name of the pill ## Is it possible that your pill says "M 52" as opposed to M 57? The closest match I could find for M57 is a white oblong shaped pill. However the pill imprinted with M 52 is a round green pill. The "M" is sitting above a score line with "52" underneath. It's identified as Sertraline hydrochloride 50 mg; used to treat depression and anxiety disorders. Manufacturer: Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc. National Drug Code (NDC): 00378-4187 Does this sound like a viable match?
Dextroamp Amphet Er 30 mg combined with Zoloft 25 mg for a twelve year old boy with suspected ADHD. What will the results be? ## Hopefully this boy hasn't already taken the combination, as there are potentially dangerous interactions listed between these two medications. Quoted below are the precautions you should be aware of: "Talk to your doctor before using sertraline together with amphetamine/dextroamphetamine. Sertraline can increase the effects of amphetamine, and side effects such as jitteriness, nervousness, anxiety, restlessness, and racing thoughts have been reported. Combining these medications can also increase the risk of a rare but serious condition called the serotonin syndrome, which may include symptoms such as confusion, hallucination, seizure, extreme changes ...
Light green with E88 imprint. other side is a darker green. This pill is shaped rectangle. Nothing special with shape. Just a normal rectangle shaped pill. ## Is this pill a capsule or a tablet? I found a (single-toned) light green capsule imprinted with E88 to be identified as Fluoxetine hydrochloride 10 mg. Manufacturer: Aurobindo Pharma National Drug Code (NDC): 65862-0192 I suppose capsules can be considered "rectangular in shape", but I also wanted to clarify that with you in case there's something that doesn't match up. Fluoxetine is approved for the treatment of major depression (including pediatric depression), obsessive-compulsive disorder (in both adult and pediatric populations), bulimia nervosa, panic disorder and premenstrual dysphoric disorder. I just found a pharmacy discount card that gave me 80% off of my Wellbutrin prescription! The card was free to sign up for and was super easy to work. advorx.com is the site. Has anyone had a bad experience with a rx discount card like this? It says it works at all major chain pharmacies and even works to get discount diabetes supplies. But my question is if there are any strings attached that I will realize later and if the card will continue working? ## To my knowledge, most of these types of cards are legitimate with no strings attached and should work (continuously) at any of the well-known pharmacies in your area. Have you gone into any pharmacies yet to try it on your prescription?
My boyfriend takes Teva-Venalfaxine 75 mg...I noticed hes very sleepy a lot of the time, and slurring his words...Are these common symptoms, or could he have been prescribed to much for him? ## No, that's not common and it definitely sounds like he may be on too high of a dosage, or it just might not be the right medication for him. You can read more Venlafaxine details here. How long has he been taking it?
Wow! I had NO idea what I was in for with this medication. If anything is too good to be true... it usually is! I started this medication back in September for fibromyalgia symptoms. It was like a miracle. The day after I took it, I woke up almost pain-free and without the "fibro-fog" I had had for the past 10 years. Well, to make a long story short, I joined a gym recently, and began thinking more of the holistic approach to pain management. The side effects of Cymbalta, although I have never experienced any of them except the difficulty sleeping, scared me (especially the liver damage). I had already decided to stop Cymbalta, when my lovely insurance company decided it didn't want to cover it anymore and I would have to pay $200 a month if I wanted to continue it. Well, to ...
Hi all, so it's 5am and I'm wide awake.. last Tuesday I ran out of my tablets (Cymbalta 30mgs) I tried calling my Drs to be told that she wasnt able to see me till this week,so I did something stupid and stopped taking the tablets, by Thursday at work I was starting to get very dizzy and put it down to my sugar levels being low, Friday I was unable to go to work because I couldnt get out of bed! I was so tired! but I kept checking my sugars and thinking what's going on? Saturday night came around and I felt like I couldnt even concentrate, My pupils were tiny! It finally clicked that maybe I'm having side effects from stopping the Cymbalta.. I ended up going to the ER to get a script.. Now one tablet in and I am so awake and feeling very strange.. This is one lesson that...
I was on for 10 days Dr took me off. How long before I feel normal again. Had every side effect possible. ## Fortunately, you weren't on them for a long period of time, so it shouldn't really take more than a week or so. There's no way to say for sure, since it can vary from person to person, but you should start to see some improvement each day, until they taper off completely. Learn more Viibryd details here. What were you taking it to treat? ## I took Viibryd for two months using the starter pack. the worst side effects were GI problems. but they did get better. I did notice significant hair loss. After week or two for the first time in years I was not depressed but noticed being much more hyped up to the point that I couldn't calm down. that was on 20mg. I backed dow...
Okay, I am hoping to get some help. I was on Pristiq 100 mg for the last three years. My insurance now is having a higher co-pay plus I have gained 25 lbs. So the PA switched my to Wellbutrin SR 150mg. It is day three and I feel awful. Very foggy and light headed. Well I found out from her nurse today, that I should not be having any caffeine when I take it. How long will this feeling last?? Anyone have words of wisdom. I am not hungry and that is the good thing. I want to try to stick it out. ## Actually, there could be a combination of factors causing your problems. How long ago did you stop the Pristiq? You could be suffering some withdrawal/rebound effects from stopping it, plus side effects from starting the new medication. These can last for about 4 to 6 weeks, before your body ad...
Finished starter pack. Never felt better- worse. More anxiety, less sleep, and awful nightmares. Took me off of it and withdraws were awful. Horrible nightmares, and hot and cold sweats. Awful drug for me. Getting back on rimeron- just have to deal with some weight gain. It works well for me. Everyone is different. Just be careful weaning off the Viibryd. ## I realize it can be somewhat different for everyone, but I get the sense that all these medications are addicting enough to induce some epic withdrawal symptoms once your body gets used to having them and then suddenly not having them. Are you finding that Remeron (mirtazapine) is any better than Viibryd when it comes down to withdrawals?
subject says it all subject says it all SSIA ## The closest match I could find was a round beige pill imprinted with "54" over "353" on one side, and a score line on the back. This particular pill is identified as Mirtazapine 30 mg. Manufacturer: Roxane Laboratories, Inc. Mirtazapine's primary use is the treatment of moderate to severe clinical depression. Learn More: Mirtazapine Details Is it likely that the imprint could've been smudged or faded, with regards to the number being "54" instead of "10"?
Thank you to all who post here. We can't get truthful or helpful support from most Drs. I am in Costa Rica and it is very difficult as I don't have a Psych. Dr. and the GP speaks little English. I have been on AD's since back in the day when there were only Tricyclics. Done them all. For the last 3 years have been on 150mg Wellbutrin and 10mg. Lexapro. GP started me on 20mg and I did that for a year and decided I wanted to try lesser dose and save a little $. I have since decided it no longer helps me and think the Wellbutrin can do the trick solo. On Sept. 8, I began 5 mgs. did that for 2 weeks, suffered the nausea, sleepiness, dizziness, weepiness short tempered, also started the Omega Oil Caps, B complex, ginger root tea, multivit. and dramamine. Then did every other day d...
I am suffering from major depression, anxiety disorder and OCD. My doctor is now trying me on Epitec. I started taking 25mg Epitec last night and woke up this morning to chattering teeth! Could the teeth chattering be caused by the Epitec and will this go away as my body gets used to the drug? ## That may be a seizure induced by the Epitec and there is a chance that it could get dangerous. Thus, you really should talk to your doctor, as soon as possible, to discuss the issue. It may not be the right medication for you to take. It isn't always dangerous, so I don't want to alarm you, but it is best to have it checked out. How are you feeling now? Learn more Epitec details here. ## Not too bad. It is more than 24 hours since I took my first dose and I did notice that shortly after...
This has been the WORST detox of a medication I have ever had in my life. I was only on Pristiq for a few months and decided I didn't want this drug in my system. I had missed a dose the weekend prior to my decision and about went crazy with the brain zaps and feeling out of control with my emotions. I realized if missing ONE dose did this to my system, just how good could it be for me??? I told my doctor I wanted off, and started the weaning process. Here it is 6 weeks later and I sit here typing this while my ears are ringing so very loud, my brain is zapping, and I thought I was going to pass out when I went grocery shopping about an hour ago. This is absolute craziness. I can't believe I ever took this stuff. I have been on anti-depressants on and off for 20 years and now I ...
its round and white with a fancy V on one side and a line through the other with 61 on one side and 60 on the other ## @ Danny according to the Pill identifier that is a Trazodone hydrochloride imprint:61 60 V strength:50 mg This is an anti depressant which is used more commonly for sleep now days as it's not an SSRI. ## Suzie is correct and to be more specific, it is an SARI antidepressant, which doesn't work as well for many people as the other classes, such as SSRIs or SNRIs. Learn more Trazodone details here. Are there any other comments or questions?
I'm 36 and a single father. I have tried antidepressants for low motivation and depression. No luck. I've done vyvance and it helped me more than anything so far. I would like to find a dr that will not give me a hard way to go with this in Louisville Ky. Any help would be very appreciated. ## Well, when you're talking about controlled substances, doctors have no choice but to be careful about prescribing them. Their prescribing practices for these types of things are monitored very closely. You'll also experience more problems if you go in asking for a specific medication, especially if it's never been prescribed for you before. Do you have a doctor that you see regularly? If so, then your best bet is to usually see them and discuss the problem to see what they reco...
