My daughter suffers from Fibromyalgia.She takes the above antidepressant.She has recently started to experience night sweats.She has been tested for TB,HIV,Thyroid,Chest X-ray and sputum.All tests performed are negative.Are night sweats perhaps a side effect of the above antidepressant? ## Actually, it seems that it does. I did some searching to check and there are complaints from many people about it causing night sweats. How long did the withdrawal symptyoms last. ## Cymgen contains the active ingredient Duloxetine, it is an SNRI antidepressant. How long the withdrawal symptoms last will really vary from person to person and a lot depends on how much they were taking and how long they were taking it. It could take anywhere from a few weeks to several months before things balance back out and you feel completely normal again. Learn more Cymgen details here. hi i'm coming off 40mg of viibryd tapering down to 10mg. i'm on day 4 of the 10mg was told to take the 10mg for 3 more days then on day 8 take nothing then on day 9 start taking my new drug called cymbalta, 30mgs, for 7 days then up to 60 mgs once daily from now on. my question is as long as i wait the day in between the 2 meds, must i go a full 7 days on the 10mgs of viibryd? everyones ready to kill me here and i am ready to do the same so please advise me if its ok to come off the viibryd sooner...thanks ## Hi joe, The only person who can legally advise you to come off your medications is your doctor. Hi, I have been using wellbutrin sr 1n the dosage of 200 to 250 mg daily for about 9 months.2 week ago my blodd test showed very low platelet count 10-15, Could this be related to the use of wellbutrin. And yes, from some studies I've found doing a search, Bupropion, which is the active ingredient in Wellbutrin, as well as several other antidepressant class medications can cause changes in the platelet count in some people that take them. Bupropion is not as prone to causing it as the others, but it did do so in some test subjects. Have you consulted your doctor about it? You may need to try a different medication.

Nuzak contains the active ingredient Fluoxetine, it's an SSRI antidepressant and yes, weight gain can be a side effect of most medications in this class. Is there a problem with the distribution of trasadone ## Apparently there was a major trazodone shortage going on in the UK earlier this spring, but I haven't come across any specific details explaining what really happened. It could be that the stock is still low. Though it seems the only way to know for certain would be to contact the manufacturer directly. One article I did find stated that, "there is a liquid formulation 50mg in 5ml that may also be available in the meantime (MIMS price £31.91 for 120ml); and that you should contact your Lead Pharmacist for advice about alternatives to get you by until it's back on the shelves." I quit cymbalta cold turkey 6 days ago. I developed severe burning itchy weeping peeling skin. Will i hit the wall as they say? And when. I have taken numerous meds over the last 15 year due to to numerous orthopedic surgeries the most recent of which was a c-3 to t-3 with rods, 16 giant screws. plates, vertebral cage and was in the hospital for a month just a year ago. I lead as active a life as possible, exercise and take hilly walks with a walker. My pain doc prescribed the cymbalta for pain, neuropathy and muscle spasms etc as at this point I am allergic to many narcotics. I read about brain zapping and so on, but I don't think I have had that occur. How would it manifest itself? I'm 28 and was taken off welbutrin and buspirone and put on viibryd 40mg I was not dosed up BC I was already on the others. I have hard horrible headaches, more anxiety, muscle pain, sleeplessness, more frequent bowel movements (which I am greatful for), cravings for sweets and have gained 5lbs over the past two weeks :( I don't know what else to do the old meds only helped me concentrate. This is due to the fact that Sertraline is a generic and is manufactured by different companies, so I don't know which specific tablets you're asking about. pain doc prescribed 30 mg per day 4 months ago. I was in the hospital for a month a year ago as my spine collapsed and I was fused from C-3 to T-3 with lots of giant screws, 4 titanium rods etc. I had had a C-3 to C-7 fusion in 1997 which was way less complex and dangerous. I have taken a number of different meds over the years and over time I developed severe allergic to all narcotics and methadone. HI. I switched from zoloft to celexa 20mg almost four weeks ago. I feel like Im going downhill more and more everyday this past week. I truly do not think it is a matter of increasing.
