Trasadone Distribution

Is there a problem with the distribution of trasadone

Apparently there was a major trazodone shortage going on in the UK earlier this spring, but I haven't come across any specific details explaining what really happened. It could be that the stock is still low. Though it seems the only way to know for certain would be to contact the manufacturer directly.

One article I did find stated that, "there is a liquid formulation 50mg in 5ml that may also be available in the meantime (MIMS price £31.91 for 120ml); and that you should contact your Lead Pharmacist for advice about alternatives to get you by until it's back on the shelves."

I hope this info helps! Has anyone else heard anything?
