I have been on SSRIs for panic disorder for years and was recently switched from Lexapro 10mg to Viibryd 10mg. I have generally tolerated SSRIs pretty well aside from decreased libido and constant drowsiness. SNRIs have always worsened my anxiety. My doctor decided to try Viibryd because it is somewhat different from regular SSRIs and he thought it might work better for me. Anyway, I am on day 3 of the Viibryd and am having some side effects including increased heart rate with some "skips", trouble falling asleep, dizziness, muscle stiffness, and a little bit of increased anxiety at times. I also have a prescription for Klonopin which helps me get through some of these effects. I have not had any of the infamous nightmares or sleep paralysis episodes so far. Has anyone had any o...

Hi, trying to find out why I hace hives. I think my sertraline 50mg , blue, oblong with 50mg on one side and G4900 on the other side is causing the hives. I wad getting tan pills from Oak Forest Healthcare Facility recently switched to Walgreens. The blue pills also taste terrible.I didnt have bad taste with the other. ## Hello, Wendy! How are you? First, if you're tasting them, then you aren't taking them properly. They actually should be placed in your mouth so far back that you're just short of gagging and then swallowed immediately with a full 8 ounce glass of water. As to the hives, have you contacted your doctor? That would be the best thing to do, so they can help you determine the cause and a proper remedy.

I just started taking Prozac 4 days ago. 10mg a day along with my lupus medications. I feel great and noticed a difference right a away. I feel more confident, my worries are gone, I have no anxiety whatsoever. My appetite is the same and I have a lot of energy. ## Hello, KindVictory! How are you? I've been taking bupropion XL 150 mg once a day now for 6 days now and as the day go on I have a strange feeling in my body kind of like some anxiety by the evening!! I also take 40mg of Fluoxetine daily. I've been taking 20 mg of the fluoxetine for 25 years with no side effects. But this feeling I get from the bupropion is not good. My son is having some psychological problem and sifferring from bad mods and anger apathy,aloofness .He does nt see aDoctor. Doctors gave him Sizodon.2 mg. For 4 yrs he is ok if not good.Now he started having depression and Doctor advised him Olean Z 5 mg.Is it better medicine than Sizodon? Hi I have been taking Cymgen first 30mg for 2 months and then 60mg after the two months, I have been on the 60mg for 2 months, and I felt like my old self again. I felt positive about my live and much more relaxed, my libido has also appeared again out of nowhere. I had weird dreams in the beginning, but by taking cymgen in the morning instead of evenings the sleep issues was sorted. I am experiencing a dryer mouth but I just drink more water. My car got broken into last night and they took my whole purse that had my 10mg of Lexapro which I just started 4 days ago inside. I had called the police and they have me a case number to give to the doctors so that I can hopefully get a refill. It is anxiety meds and I was highly advised by my doc to not skip any days or else I will have bad withdraws and side effects. Don't skip or miss a dose. I ran low and skipped a day and then cut a 40 mg tablet in 1/2. Did this with Prozac from time to time or missed a dose, never any issues. Additionally, I had a bad cold and added cold medicine, another big no no. I experienced night dreams, night paralysis, feeling of not being able to breath at night upon waking, terribly itch skin all over, coma feeling upon waking, confusion, loss of direction and extreme agitation. I took one 40 mg pill last night, all of the aforementioned symptoms subsided. I had to make several apologies at work today for my agitation just yesterday. I have been on Cymbalta for a couple of weeks. I don't have any problems falling asleep.Every once in a while I use to fight in my sleep or have nightmares, but maybe once every couple of months if that. But now since I've been taking the Cymbalta it's like every night I'm fighting and or talking in my sleep. Have you heard of anything like this? Thank you for your time. ## Hello, Shonda! Virtually all medications like this that act on brain chemicals cause disruptions to the sleep cycle, usually by REM onset latency, you spend less time in the REM stage and it is much more vivid, while you are in it. Have you consulted your doctor? It just might not be the right medication for you to take.

I have had a severe throat infection for the past 5 years. Consulted an ENT and he prescribed one tab of Levocet daily for a month. My question is, since I have been on antidepressant tablets for 3 years, is it ok to try Levocet for a short period of time?

Have been taking Extine for about 3 yrs with no probs, but lately i have been itching, upper arms, legs and back. all in the same spots each day a couple of hrs after taking it. There is no rash but terriably itchy and can go for hrs. Could it be the Extine? ## Extine contains the active ingredient Paroxetine; which does list itching as a severe side effect associated with taking this medication. I am finding that food is pretty disgusting but I can still eat, I just really don't want to... I started taking welbutrin 10 days ago and ever since then I haven't been able to eat. I didn't take it today to see what would happen and I'm still not hungry.
