Stolen

My car got broken into last night and they took my whole purse that had my 10mg of Lexapro which I just started 4 days ago inside. I had called the police and they have me a case number to give to the doctors so that I can hopefully get a refill. It is anxiety meds and I was highly advised by my doc to not skip any days or else I will have bad withdraws and side effects. I left many messages but today is Saturday and the next business day is Monday. Is my only option waiting until then or is there a way I can get my pills back sooner?

Hello, Sara! How are you? Very sorry about what happened.

Were there any refills on it? If so, they'd be on file at your pharmacy and you should be able to pick up a new bottle there, once you inform them of what happened. It isn't a controlled substance, so there shouldn't be a problem getting it filled early, especially with the police report as proof.
