No, this tablet contains 100mgs of Bupropion in a time released formulation, so cutting or breaking the tablet could cause you to get too much of the medication, at once, which might result in overdose. Side effects to this medication may include nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Verwon, thank you!! I should have known, but forgot about it being slow release. Thank you for the great and quick response, Jan ## You're very welcome, I'm glad I was able to help. Are there any other questions or concerns?

I have been on a baby dose - 12.50 mgs. of sertraline for over a year with a low dose of escitalapram and clonazapam. I recently had my sertraline increased to 25 mgs. as a means of helping me to get off of the clonazopram and Escitalapram. That was over two weeks ago; and now for the past week I have had this terrible sore and burning feeling under my skin in the front and back of my ribs. I have been to the doctors two times saying it is an inflammation of a nerve and to take 2 aleve 2 times a day. I don't seem to be improving and am beginning to wonder if it is the sertraline. Any ideas? ## Hello, Hope! How are you? Yes, I've had similar symptoms, when I first started taking Prozac for perimenopause symptoms. However, the good news is that it all cleared up around 4 weeks in,...
Today will be my 3rd day on Lexypro. My anxiety is down but I feel like i want to lay on the sofa all day and don't want to make a decision and just don't care. My stomach feels hungry and empty a lot. Feel lazy and unmotivated and disconnected. ## Hello, Leno123! How are you? Lexapro contains the active ingredient Escitalopram, which is an SSRI antidepressant that can also help with anxiety. Those are all fairly typical side effects for when you just start such a medication, you may also experience dizziness, headache. dry mouth and weight changes. They should improve after about a month, once your body adjusts to the medication. If they don't, then you should speak to your doctor as it might not be the right medication for you take. Looking for a Dr in Grand Rapids that isn't a closed minded neanderthal. I've been to 2 different docs in the past 4 months. I was quite active growing up and as a result suffered quite a few injuries. Between sports, military, and work life, my 38 year old body feels like its 70. Chronic fatigue, back pain, sharp pains going down legs is a daily torment. The first doc I saw put me on Cymbalta for three months to no effect. He then diagnosed poison ivy as a viral infection (really?) Needless to say I didn't remain with him. And the second he told me after one visit, that fibromyalgia doesn't exist (mother, father, and sister are all diagnosed with it by the way). After initial blood work he informed me that nothing was abnormal and we could discuss further treatments. Kn...
started on 50mg zoloft one wk ago exactly for depression. having a few side effects from it but dont feel any different, how long b4 it starts working? ## Hello, Single08! How are you? It usually takes about 4 to 6 weeks to reach its full efficacy level in your body, so you can tell whether or not it is working for you. You'll be able to tell, because it will be around the same time that any side effects you experience hit their peak intensity and then start to taper off and slowly go away. Typical side effects to this medication may include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight changes. Is there anything else I can help with?

The pill is small white and round with the number 20 on one side and a split down the middle of the other side. When split in half with difficulty the pill seemed to have a wrapper-like material around it. ## Hello, Johnnie! How are you? That's most likely an enteric coating to protect the stomach or a time release coating. So far, I've not found anything that matches this description, but that does give more ideas of where to look, so I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? ## Maybe 20mg lexapro best depression pill out...

Discontinuing lexapro. 10 year old is having violent episodes. He has been taking for four months. Violent episodes started when began lexapro. Recently weaned from abilify. ## Hello, Diane! How is he doing? It would be best to consult the prescribing doctor for the best way to wean off of it and what to replace it with, if he still needs a medication. There can be some withdrawal and rebound symptoms that could make things worse, if he is tapered too rapidly and, at is age, it is best to let his doctor handle the situation for his health and safety. Rebound effects may include nausea, diarrhea, headache, irritability and insomnia. What dosage is he on and what condition is being treated?

have been on pristiq a couple of months and am feeling good but have recently not been able to sleep.its weird as i don't feel tired? is this a common side effect and if so is there something i can do for with without medication? ## Hello, Gettingthere! How are you? Pristiq is an SNRI antidepressant and most such medications can cause ROL, which is REM onset latency. That means you take longer to enter the restful REM phase of sleep and are in it for a shorter period of time. It also tends to cause vivid dreaming. If you aren't tired, I have to wonder if maybe you are sleeping, but just dreaming and thinking you aren't? I could be wrong, but I did find this happening to me, sometimes, while taking Prozac. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth ...
Want to know safely how soon can another dose can be taken after the first dose 100mg ,trazadone ## Hello, Ray Ray! How are you? Trazodone is a tetracyclic antidepressant that is also sometimes used to help with insomnia. The dosing schedule depends on how your doctor has prescribed it, since it's generally taken 2 or 3 times a day. If they've told you to take it twice a day, then that would be approximately every 12 hours, if it's 3 times a day that would be approximately every 8 hours. Side effects to this medication may include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight changes. Is there anything else I can help with?
Hi....Here's the short version of my story. I was on effexor for 13 years, started out at 37.5mg for probably 9 years and had absolutely No problems with anxiety. I was so good that I decided to stop taking it. Felt great for 3 months then I had a terrible attack in the middle of the night. Went to doc she put me back on and all said and done was up to 225mg to make me feel "normal". From there I stayed on that dose until about 6 weeks ago. Again I woke up in the middle of the night with a panic attack. Unfortunately they don't just stop, they go on for days and weeks! I immediately went to my doc and she upped me to 300mg of effexor, after a couple weeks we decided it just wasn't working anymore. We chose citalopram as the next option because my brother has had succ...

Callin from calli!:-) ## Hello, Cherokeemama! How are you? It seems there is a mix, some people work, some people don't. It really depends on the severity of the individual's condition, how degenerative it is, what medications they are taking and etc. Some people prefer to work, as long as they can, if they can and others are unable to get approved for SSDI. With that mix of medications you're on, your condition a...

Taking L-Methyfolate for depression..800 mcg. daily...How much of it would be equivalent to Delphin 7.5 mg? ## Hello, From what I could gather, Delphin is listed as being another brand name for L-Methyfolate. However, to answer your question about converting the dosage, 800mcg is reportedly equivalent to 0.8mg. This means that you would essentially have to multiply your 800mcg dose roughly nine and a half times in order to reach 7.6mgs... just a tad less and you should be at 7.5mg in that respect. Do you find that it really helps with your depression?
My daughter is 13 yrs old. She was diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome last year. She started having panic attacks around the beginning of September. We didn't know that's what she was having. Three weeks ago the doctor told us that's what it was. They put her on 10 mg of Lexapro. She hasn't had any more panic attacks. But she started having a severe headache seven weeks ago that hasn't let up for a second & then she started having severe pain in her stomach. We brought her to the doctor yesterday & they put her on 10 mg of amitriptyline. So now she's taking both Lexapro & amitriptyline. She's only thirteen. I hate her being on all this medicine & I've read all the side effects but I don't know what else to do. I just want th...
