1st 2 Days On Lexypro For Anxiety

Today will be my 3rd day on Lexypro. My anxiety is down but I feel like i want to lay on the sofa all day and don't want to make a decision and just don't care. My stomach feels hungry and empty a lot. Feel lazy and unmotivated and disconnected.

Lexapro contains the active ingredient Escitalopram, which is an SSRI antidepressant that can also help with anxiety. Those are all fairly typical side effects for when you just start such a medication, you may also experience dizziness, headache. dry mouth and weight changes.

They should improve after about a month, once your body adjusts to the medication. If they don't, then you should speak to your doctor as it might not be the right medication for you take.
