Hey all for a few different stupid reasons that were my own fault I missed several Paxil 10mg doses a couple of weeks ago and started feeling the effects last week. I since then have been taking my 10mg once a day at night like always and I do definitely feel better than at first but still very anxious especially when I first wake up. I have Xanax to take to help me get through this period until I fewl 100% again. Not really sure why I'm posting maybe just for some reassurance I'll be myself soon enough. This happened twice before a couple years ago. The thing is that just like last time I am thinking "well i missed it a while ago so now I'm panicking that im not feeling 100% yet so maybe it's not working anymore". So I was taking 30mg and over the past few months since June I believe I went from 30mg to 2.5mg because I didn't being tired and basicly feeling like a zombie. But now I'm at 2.5mg its like I'm taking nothing my anxiety it sky high again and my OCD is going to drive me insane. My Dr made me go from 10- 20 then 20 to 30. So can I go from 2.5 to 10mg. I think 10 would help me a lot. Then in a month I go back to 20 if 10 don't help. So is this safe.

When you first started taking Wellbutrin how soon did you know it was working? ## I was prescribed recently wellbutrin xl 150. After 2 weeks and good effects such as waking up easy and alert, feeling"lifted" my psych. chose to up the dose to 300. I have been on this for 1 week my side effects arent as good example- drowsy and harder to wake up- not having that same lift as with 150. How long should I wait before I request changing back to 150? ## It can take 4 to 6 weeks for these types of medications to reach their full effectiveness in the body, you'll usually notice because it is around the same time that the side effects will hit their peak and start to taper off. Hi, I have been on sert5raline for approximately 16motnhs having changed from citalopram when my daughter was born. My family is relocating to Dubai and I really want to go but my anxiety about what if we fails etc is holding me back. Today my doctor upped my dose from 50mg to 100mg? Should this make a significant difference? ?If so how soon? I really don't want my anxiety to run my life and am trying really hard to face thef ear and do it anyway. Tablet, pale blue Imprint: M S3 Nothing on backside ## i have a new presc. for this with the markings 214 on one side and I/G on the other. I have been taking it for over 2 years I was really ill with panic disorder and ocd I started on 100mg but im very petite and underweight so they considered that an high dose last year I felt ready to come off but have been unable to due to the horrible brain shocks I get when I don't take it so my GP dropped my dose 50mg I think December time and I have been taking them every three days which was fine.Then the past few weeks I feel like I am on the verge of a nervous breakdown my mind is racing and iv had about 4 panic attacks in a month I am a bag of nerves again nothing as changed for this to happen is it possible that the tablets are no longer effective has anybody else experienced this ??? ## It may be likely that the BRAND of Sertraline is not a good one. hi I started Effexor ER 3 days ago and beginning the first day I started to get fairly severe stomach and lower back cramping along with having to defecate several times a day. Has anyone ever experienced this type of side effect when just starting the medication? Thank you everyone. ## Hello, Jay! How are you? I'm very sorry about the symptoms you've had. However, the symptoms you've described are reported as possible side effects, when someone is new to taking this medication and it may take a few weeks for them to taper off, as your body gets used to the Effexor. You may also experience dizziness, fatigue and increased salivation, according to the FDA. Is there anything else I can help with?

I am now taking both elavil and celexa. Is it dangerous to mix these two anti-depressants together? ## What has your doctor advised? Been on 75 mgs of Zoloft for 3 weeks, I was tired a lot before taking it but now I'm even more tired. My question is would maybe jumping up to 150 help this? Tiredness and drowsiness are among the possible side effects of Zoloft, as listed by the FDA. You may also experience dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight changes. However, it should wear off and improve in severity, as your body gets used to the medication, so it may take 4 weeks, or so. Raising the dosage could actually just make it worse. Is it safe to take 100 mg trazodone with 40 mg oxazepam for sleep? ## Has your doctor instructed you to do so? Taking them together can increase the risk of depression of the central nervous system, which may cause shallow breathing, lowered heart rate and lowered blood pressure. I was on Doxepin for a year and worked my way down to 10 mgs doctor said I could go down to10 mgs and now I am taking it every other day. What is the best wsy to come off or could I just stop it like the doctor said I could? Would like to stop if now, great drug for depression but the weight gain is really bad. ## Hello, Tweety bird! How are you? You could try just stopping, as your doctor said, or if you prefer not to, you could start skipping more days, between doses. It's really up to you, but 10mgs is a very low dose. i am taking stalopam lite tablet,from last 45 days. Now i stopped taking it,and not sleeping for whole night. I started taking Viibryd approximately 6 months ago. Had a shaky start. Started with 10 mg and then went to 20 mg in a week. Had bouts of intense rage. Couldn't control my anger. The abdominal cramping and diarrhea were no help either. Went back down to 10 mg and stayed there for over a month. Went up to 15 mg for a few months and then to 20 mg. As a whole, Viibryd didn't do much for my depression but did wonders for my anxiety. Unfortunately it also gave me intense sugar cravings and I gained 15 pounds regardless of the amount I exercised/dieted. I am currently on 6 of NO Viibryd. Am having hip replacement & need to find a pain medication that won't have any side effects with the Nardil ## Hello, Babe! How are you? I'm sorry, but I've checked many via the interaction checked from MedScape and I'm not finding any. However, in the hospital, it may be different after the surgery, because they can monitor you. So, they may know of something they can give you that isn't as risky. Has your doctor had any ideas? Sometimes, they will have you go off of the Nardil for awhile, before doing surgery. I've been diagnosed with major depression and adhd since I was 10. I started taking anti depressants when I was about 17. After trying a slew of different medications we settled on effexor. I went a long time without a PCP or psychiatrist and insurance so was basically stuck on effexor out of a fear of the brutal withdrawal symptoms. I was also a drug addict so didn't know what, if anything the meds were doing to my already altered brain chemistry. I have now been clean and sober for over one year and in therapy. I wanted to get off the effexor as it was the last vestage of my old life and try something new. My psychiatrist dropped me from 150mg to 112.5 to 75 to 37.5 in about a months time and I'm in my third day of nothing at all. I feel like absolute crap. Brainzaps/pulse...

Any idea as to when they are going to start Phase III of the trials on GLYX13? ## I know there have been some recent studies on GLYX-13, but I'm not certain when upcoming trials are scheduled. For this, many interested parties suggest checking clinicaltrials.gov periodically to see if they've posted any updates. I have read all the problems people are having with the generic versions of the Wellbutrin XL but I have had similar problems with the change in generics for Wellbutrin SR. I originally took 300 to 400 mgs of Wellbutrin SR manufactured by Watson. I have had several changes but did okay on the Wellbutrin by Watson and Sandoz. I went into a deep depression when I was switched to the Mylan but my insurance at first denied a different brand. Now they will switch to another generic with a special process.
