Missed A Bunch Of Doses Of Paxil

Hey all for a few different stupid reasons that were my own fault I missed several Paxil 10mg doses a couple of weeks ago and started feeling the effects last week. I since then have been taking my 10mg once a day at night like always and I do definitely feel better than at first but still very anxious especially when I first wake up. I have Xanax to take to help me get through this period until I fewl 100% again. Not really sure why I'm posting maybe just for some reassurance I'll be myself soon enough. This happened twice before a couple years ago. The thing is that just like last time I am thinking "well i missed it a while ago so now I'm panicking that im not feeling 100% yet so maybe it's not working anymore". I try to reassure myself that the only times in my life I fealt like this was when I first started the medication when I was 19 (just turned 25) and the other instances where I missed doses and as recently as two weeks ago I was 100% myself and always in a good mood and positive (and always have been while on paxil except the instances I missed doses like I said). I know it's cumulative and takes time to rebuild in my system and both other times this happened I thought the worse and then the next month or less I was back to myself with out any care in the world. Trying to stay positive and know that it's only because of the withdrawal until it's steady in my system but when you're anxious it's hard to think clearly lol. Just writing this to vent a bit and for some reassurance as when I'm anxious like this I just think the worse. And don't worry I'm taking extra steps to make sure it never happens again. Just wanting the next few weeks to be over till it's back in my system and I'm fine just like before.

Just want to add my doctor who prescribed me with it is aware of the other two times it happened and was very calm about it knowing the only side effects I had were increased anxiety and panic attacks and being tired as it rebuilt in my system. He told me it can take a while to feel the effects of not taking it and then a while more to feel back to normal after taking it but again just as a result of my anxiety right now I felt Id post and see what people had to say. I can't stop myself from thinking "oh what if it doesn't work again and I stay anxious like this" but I try and calm myself knowing two weeks ago I had no anxiety and that its just the anxiety making me not think clearly. Sorry for the long post everyone just wanted to get my thoughts out there. Hope everyone has a fantastic holiday :)
