round white has M at top of tablet and 613 at bottom. This doesn't look like any keppra ive taken before and im scared to ## Where did you obtain this from? Was it from a U.S. based pharmacy, another country, etc? Reason I ask is because the imprint M 613 is not coming up under any U.S. prescription meds. ## M 613 is Mylan Pharmaceuticals levetiracetam (generic version of Keppra), 250 mg. Earlier this week, I received my first generic refill of the 500 mg version (oblong white, M 615), and since it wasn't on their web page, I double-checked by calling them. The 750 mg dose is M 617. ## You DO NOT want to take that medicine. It is made by Mylan Pharmaceuticals. It was sent to me by a pharmacist without approval from me or my MD. I had a toxic reaction to this medicine. ## What ki...

I am just beginning to take the generic of LAMICTAL. what can I expect as side effects. ## Hello, The Generic of Lamictal contains the active ingredient Lamotrigine. Prescribing information for Lamotrigine has a black box warning about life-threatening skin reactions, including Stevens-Johnson syndrome, DRESS syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis. The manufacturer states that nearly all cases appear in the first 2 to 8 weeks of therapy and if medication is suddenly stopped then resumed at the normal dosage. Patients should seek medical attention for any unexpected skin rash, as its presence is an indication of a possible serious or even deadly side-effect of the drug. Other side-effects include loss of balance or coordination, double vision, crossed eyes, pupil constriction, blurred v...

Lamictal is not for everyone and has very serious side effects. If a doctor says they they want to increase the dosage for possible better effects...STOP. Tell the doctor to try something different and something that has been around for some time. The latest and greatest isn't always the best choice. Sometimes the tried and true are the best. I speak from experience after dealing with it for my wife. ## Hi Tommy, Thank you for your input! You're definitely right. Lamicatal has some pretty serious side effects that can be fatal in some cases. For anyone that doesn't know much about this medication i.e.:uses, side effects, etc.. you can click on the link below: You can learn more about this drug on the page for Lamictal Details If anyone has any questions or more information t...

I was prescribed Topamax by my doctor because she thought it would help 1. to eliminate headaches I had been having and 2. to help in weight loss. I have suffered from depression and she felt this would be an added benefit in helping that, or at least it would not hurt it. I do suffer from fatigue and I was told this may be a side effect so I was told to take this at night time. I started 25 mg for the first month and all was fine, I did not notice much. I then added another 25 mg for a total dose of 50 mg. and on the second day I was having memory type problems so I reduced the dose back to the 25mg. I waited another 2 weeks and added the additional 25mg and it seemed OK. I was taking 50 mg for about 6 weeks and the only side effect was that about an hour after taking my dose I would f...

I have been on Neurontin for about 2 months now and it is helping my chronic pain, however... I am having terrible mood swings. I'm already dealing with depression and anxiety (which is currently untreated due to a ridiculous wait time for an appointment). I haven't been without pain for years and while i'm enjoying that, I'm ruining my life and friendships with my mood swings. Should I stay on it until I see a psychiatrist or should I stop taking them immediately. I am having SI that occur more than daily and i'm scared that one of these times it won't be an idea, but an attempt. Please help. ## I should mention that I'm only taking 300mg at bedtime. ## Based on my research, it certainly seems as though the side effects of Neurontin (Gabapentin) are directly...

My co-worker is currently on Topamax and is losing a lot of weight but I have some concers. Does anyone have input...please advise. ## I can tell you that it is not FDA approved to be used as a weight loss drug. There are usually reasons they do not approve it for some specific use, so that would cause me to have concerns right there. There are many options on the market that are approved as safe for weight loss. This drug can also cause some bad side effects, such as tingling of the hands and feet, cognitive disfunction and permanent vision loss. ## Well actually her doctor prescribed it for depression but she is losing weight and keeps telling me I need to take it and she also said her feet have tingled but I'm not certain about switching anti-depressants at this time. ## be carfu...
