Ive been on this med for months now for migraines,after taking it for awhile ive noticed my anxiety went to an all time low,but,I was prescribed 300 2x a day..well ive taken alot more,its been 3 almost 4 days and im spazing without them..ive made a dr appointment to let my dr know ive taken alot more prescribed and idk what to expect...im nervous of what he will say..any others that have delt with this? ## Hello, Tammy! I was on 1,500mg of primidone a few weeks ago and my doctor went down to 500mg.because of a med mistake. It was really helping my mental health. Now i am anxious, irratable and just extremely emotional...what is wrong? I also have been missing some of my doses of saphris...what do i do? ## You are most likely experiencing withdrawal effects, especially coupled with missing doses of your Saphris. I have hot flashes and i have just been prescrbed gabapetin 300mg. Anybody elsr? ## I've been on it for about a year now and I have gotten hit flashes but been thinking it's early menopause. I'm 43. I NEVER put two and two together. I've also been allergic to dogs for instance. I had dogs alllll my life. I wonder if that has anything to do with it? Another thing. I've always had sleep problems. Had a sleep study and I have restless leg syndrome. I used t o be lucky if I got 4 hours in one piece or 5 hours in a 12 hour period. Now I can and do fall asleep at all times. I am suffering from seizures since last one year using levipill 500mg on doctor advise. But ocassionally the seizures are being attacted at bed time. kindly intmate whether I can take any other supplement to avoid this. ## kalali, I am an epileptic, to people who don't know that means I hve seziures frm unknown reasons. I hve been on so many meds to stop, none hve worked. Now I take valiumm and in 5 yrs only 1 seziure down frm what use to hve been up to 5 grandmals or petit seziures a day. Be real careful a lot of these drugs ruin your bones. Good luck and make sure the drug your on isn't causing more problems, best person is the pharmacist, most docs, I hate to say know what the drug does, but NOT the bad side effects!

I have been prescribed gabatentine for back and neck pain. I am being drug tested once a week with a zero tolerance for any narcotics in my system. Will this medication show up on a 10 panel drug urinalysis drug screen ## Gabapentin is not a narcotic of any type, it is actually an anticonvulsant that has been shown to help with certain types of nerve pain. My husband was put on keppra about two months ago. He slept day and night for about a week and a half. He's awake alot more now but when he's up he's in a bad mood or just indifferent. He's been on seroquel for years to treat bipolar disorder. He was in a bad mood alot before the seroquel and then he was great. Now that he's on keppra he's in a bad mood alot, like its reversing the seroquel positive effects. The Dr said he'd wean him off so I'm hoping for the best. I am currently on 300 mg of Topamax for seizures and have tingling/numbness from the waist down. I was on Topamax before and never had this side effect. Will this get better or is there a vitamin I could take to maybe help with it? I have been on it for about a month now. My doctor has adjusted the dose and switched me to the extended medicine to try that. The dose was just lowered last week so fingers crossed this will get better. Have lower back pain and was given 800mg Gabapentin to be taken 1/2 tablet 3 times a day. Only took 1/2 pill at bedtime, off and on for only a few months. My doctor moved and was given a different doctor who said my 200mg Zoloft a day wasn't working anymore so I should take a 800mg Gaba pill at night, he tapered me off the Zoloft by reducing 50mg every two weeks. I have been off Zoloft for a week and started wellbutin 75mg one in the morning and one at night. Note: I haven't taken the Gaba for 2 days and have noticed I am having anxiety, ring in ears, depression, crying at the drop of a hat, irritability, nausea, loss of appetite, insomnia, feeling like I;m going crazy. My son is being treated for epilepsy and is given the dosage of encorate chrono 200 mg, one in the morning and one in the evening. As informed by our neurologist, there are no side effects. As he is just 10 years old, we are quite afraid of the side effects over his studies, over his physical and mental health. I need refills for my mood stabilizer lamictal and can't afford to see my Dr. I have one prescription that involves me titrating my dosage up for a week and the refills are empty. Are doctors allowed to put refills on those so I can add my own in? gabapentin in a red capsule looks somewhat like a Keflex and also Neurontin in a yellow capsule enscribed Neurontin 300 I need the active ingredients ## Gabapentin is the active ingredient, it is the generic for Neurontin. ## I have taken gabapentin for about 18 or 20 months now. I took the orange capsule. When my pharmacist refilled it this time the yellow capsule was substituted. I ran out of neurontin after slow response from mail order drug company. I had serotonin syndrome after abrupt withdrawal from amitriptylene and fear this could happen again. in2007 i was in horrible anxiety i would pace for hours a doctor gave me cymbalta i d stop pacing but still with anxiety.the causes are my mothers health. failures in life. a neighbor who drove a extremely loud motorcycle around his yard for hours.They also mowed early in the day and have aloud truck constantly waking me up. Hello, my mother has some nuerology problems and the doctor prescribed her encorate crono 250 twice a day and frisium 10 Mg and 20 Mg in a day. My mother has been taking these medications for the past 2 Years and now her legs are starting to swell just down from her knees and to her feet. Also she has a thyroid problem and she takes 50 mcg thyronorm on a daily basis. Her thyroid level protein and hemoglobin is normal. Please advise me.

I haven't taken gabapentin, it made me ridiculously tired when I was prescribed it back in December so I stopped it. Recently I tested positive for gabapentin and can't figure out why...i take lexapro, lamictal, imitrex, maxalt, suboxone, melatonin, benadryl as needed, ibuprofen as needed and I've had a sinus infection so I was taking otc cold and sinus medicines, one was a daytime formula, a nighttime and decongestant. ..Please tell me what's causing this ## I am on methadone and tested positive for the gabapentin and I know I did not take it. So I feel that I am almost in the same situation as you. Have you found anything out about your results or why it would happen??
