Primidone For Mood?

I was on 1,500mg of primidone a few weeks ago and my doctor went down to 500mg.because of a med mistake. It was really helping my mental health. Now i am anxious, irratable and just extremely emotional...what is wrong? I also have been missing some of my doses of saphris...what do i do?

You are most likely experiencing withdrawal effects, especially coupled with missing doses of your Saphris.

Have you informed your doctor of the dosage mistake?

The typical side effects of Primidone may possibly include nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, weight changes and mood swings.
