Past the age of 12, it is usually dosed according to the severity of the infection, prior to that, it is dosed by weight. Hi, I have been on antibiotics on and off for the last 4 months. Last antibiotics I was on is the h-pylori kit in mid December. I have been on lorabil plus with constipation and stomach gases. Yesterday, I did a stool test and was examined. Outcome for the stool test was NAD for any parasite. After this the doctor prescribed Gabboral twice daily, Robenac 20mg and Floranom sachet BD. I feel awful after my first intake. Abdominal discomfort, poor bowel moves and gasses. I need help since I have been on so many antibiotics and ulcer meds. My stomach is not performing as good as it should. Should I continue with the med or stop?

Since taking SMZ/TMP DS 800 I've had problems with ligaments of my shoulders and knee. I mentioned this to my doctor & she said it is a side affect but said nothing else about it. I just found lupin 500 in the bedroom of a young man that was staying at my house. Hi I was prescribed penicillin for tonsilitus i took for 3 days and was no better however had no side effects. I went back to doctors and they gave me clarithromycin instead i have taken 1 of these only and have had stomach pain and diarrhoea. My throat feels a lot better now cn i go back to taking the penicillin? ## Claire, I would advise against that,only a provider familiar with your history should make that decision . Firstly Pennicilin or any antibiotic for that matter SHOULD ALWAYS BE TAKEN TO ITS CONCLUSION UNLESS OTHERWISE DIRECTED BY YOUR PROVIDER. I have a large carbuncle on the right of my scrotum for about a week now, and it does not seem to come to a head, and drain. I now want to bombard it with Betamox 500 capsules and Co-amoxyclav 375.
