Her E.R. doctor prescribed her amoxicillin 400mg/5 ml and she is supposed to take 10ml by mouth two times a day. Is this too much? She is only 40 lbs. ## It should be given to her according to the doctor's instructions. At her age, it is prescribed by weight and severity of the infection being treated. Took moxifloxacin 5 days bad side effects is it safe too start amoxicillin as been 2 days since i took moxifloxacin. Had tooth extraction is a precaution because have cvid and had 7 months previously staph aureus sinus infection. I just got off zpack about a week ago and before that i had taken penicillin vk 500mg. I recently had a sore throat, cold and fever. I found an old pack of my husband's Moxifloxacin 400 mg and on the first day I took two, on day 2, I took one dose. I took my first dose of augmentin this evening and when I was going to sleep my hands started itching. I finally got annoyed enough to go look for some cortisone cream and when I turned on the light I saw that my whole body was red - except my face. It's worst on my feet, inner part of legs, stomach and arms. My hands and feet are what itch the most. I just took Benadryl and a probiotic. Should I be concerned? Will this go away in the morning? I started taking Macrobid for a UTI, I only took one pill yesterday and one today. This afternoon my right eye hurts and waters some. I have had dry eye issues in the eye previously. I am also female and 62 years old.
