Lupin And Drug Abuse

I just found lupin 500 in the bedroom of a young man that was staying at my house. Could he have been using it to feel high?

Hi Pat - Based on what you have described it sounds like you found a LUPIN 500 capsule. Fortunately this is not a drug that would be abused. It is Cephalexin 500 mg, which is an antibiotic. The word LUPIN simply refers to the manufacturer's name, not the drug itself. The NDC code for this drug is 68180-122, and here is a photo for your reference:
