Hello, I started taking Cipro for a uti yesterday, and I believe that its causing me to have extreme anxiety attacks. I can't sleep. I have started taking Purbac DS and Tribuss 5 days ago and I sleep day and night. I'm worried. I found a yellow oval shaped pill with a weird e looking thing on one side and a kl on the other side. CAN I TAKE THE APO-sulfatrim 800/160 mg with TUMS. ## This contains Aulfamethoxazole and Trimethoprim, it is an antibiotic that's used to treat various types of infections. And I didn't find any interactions listed between it and the Calcium carbonate in Tums, but you should check with your doctor or pharmacist to be certain. Since the Calcium can affect the absorption of certain medications, it may also be advisable to take them a few hours apart, just to play it safe. I have taken a dose of 4 500 Mg tabs for abdominal pain that my GP diagnosed as parasites. I have felt worse up to 24 hours afterwards, with sharp muscle pain, severe headache, & mild nausea, and still the same abdominal pain, presumably side effects of the above tablets. How long would it be that I should start to feel better.
