Was Prescribed Ibelex And Cephalexin

I had ibelex many times before this time and after my first cephalexin tablet I felt quite ill: Sweating, scratching, very red all over. Why would this be given at hospital as an antihistamine?

This is an antibiotic that is used to treat or prevent bacterial infections, it is not an antihistamine.

The U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.

What was your diagnosis? Who told you it was an antihistamine?
