My Neurologist prescribed Nitrofurantoin Mono-MCR 100mg for the rest of my life ## Nitrofurantoin is an antibiotic usually used in treating urinary tract infections and also against E. Coli. I'm not sure what relation an antibiotic would have to nerve problems, but there are other natural antibiotics in the form of fruits, vegetables, herbs, oils, etc; that in my opinion can be a more feasible long term approach to killing bacteria. I have a burning urine and it's brownish and has a very bad and strong smell. I also have discharge and it's sometimes sticky and white then sometimes it's browinish.I went to a clinic about 5 times and they gave me an antibiotics but it only dissapeared for a little while then it comes back I even took my partner to the clinic but it doesn't stop. So now I'm using the canex v and it's been 3 days using it bt I get the brownish and burning urine but the discharge has dissapeared. I took a week's prescription of Augmentum (28 doses) followed by 8 days of Clindamycin....the former was for an infection in my sphenoid sinus, the latter for an emergency dental issue requiring a root canal. My sinus condition is still unresolved. I have been warned that too much antibiotic can cause an intestinal condition that is very dangerous. I had a urinary problem after I bought and ate the kidney of a cow. I was feeling a hot sensation when urinating, so Purbac DS is one drug I was given three days ago. I am still in pain when urinating four days later. ## I'm also having difficulties when urinating.
