can i take enhancin 1g once a day only in the morning because my dentist advised me to take 1tablet in the morning and 1tablet in the evening. ## If your dentist has advised you to take it twice daily, then you should do so, otherwise you may not fully eradicate the infection. Ciprofloxacin can increase the amount of Amlodipine that you absorb, it can also increase the effect of Metformin, according to the FDA reports, so it's best not take them unless your doctor has said you should do so. Hi I have been taking Purbac, Aluvia, Tremoc and Activio vitamin for 3 years. My new doctor stop prescribing it upon seeing my CD4 account of 575. I have experienced extreme weight gain and night sweats around my neck and face even during the day. My husband has also gained belly fat since stopping it he's also been on purbac. I just finished taking penicillin vk 500mg and it was not working. I have some azithromycin 200mg. Is it ok to take this a day after stopping penicillin? ## Hi Ashley, I guess I can only speak for myself if I were in this type of predicament, but I would probably opt to take the azithromycin without worry if the penicillin wasn't working for me. I think that by waiting a day in between switching antibiotics, it should (in my opinion) be no different than continuing with the treatment regimen -of course, still following the prescribed dosing guidelines thereafter. However, I would also look into taking a probiotic immediately after finishing the course of antibiotics to help replenish good bacteria in the body. I just started taking macrobic...and I started my menstrual cycle when I already had it this month. Is something wrong? ## Did you mean Macrobid,the antibiotic containing Nitrofurantoin? Is the blood in your urine or is it menstrual? I have been on Nitrofurantoin 100 mg every other day for many years. I have a history of a staghorn calculus and multiple urinary tract infections. I have not had any infections in the past 2 years. I am having difficulty refilling the medication now that my Endo Dr will no longer fill it, my urologist retired and my PCP never ordered it. My urologist wanted me on it permanently to prevent issues. So is stopping it a good idea?
