Took same medication for UTI Dec 2007 Saw family physician 3-27-09 in A.M. Urinalysis/culture was neg. sample has been sent to lab for further evaluation. Return visit appt 3-31-09 He is out of town for week end. 2 MACROBID Caps were taken on day 1. Liquid cap Ibuprophen @ 3:30 A.M. for headache. Awakened 6:00A.M. 3/28/09 to urinate/bm. is nitrofurantoin useful for throat infection?? ## Nitrofurantoin is an antibiotic. It is usually used in treating urinary tract infection. Like many other drugs, it is often used for killing E Coli. My doctor prescribed Bacterim for my suspected STD. Symptoms are a sharp pain in my penis whenever I get an erection, a white milky discharge and initially a raw irritated area along the underside of my penis. Once the underside of my penis healed, my balls developed a raw, painful area with open sores. Not good! Its Blue, it Has Dan4550 to be taken twice daily & one daily & twice ## Hmmm ... did not find the exact markings which you posted. The closest thing I found was a blue capsule with Dan 5440 on it. I live in Bangalore. I have been suffering from chronic pharyngitis and laringitise. So far I have take five courses of antibiotics no results. Doctor says this could be due to certain allergy. However, the medicine for allergy also had very little effect. I am not sure on the further course of action. I would welcome your suggestions on this. kinda oval with #93 089 ## Thisis a generic for Septa, it is a combination of two antibiotics. ## I was given a Rx for this med for an ingrown hair on my head. I also went for a cat scan and was injected with a dye prior to. The inj. site became inflamed and I am concerned. However I am still on the Sulfam and my redness and swelling has decreased in size along with the soreness subsiding. Do not know if the Sulfam has helped but my ingrown hair is gone and my inj. site has greatly improved. Is it normal to take Doxycycline for a week and test positive on a drug test 2 weeks later? ## i had a gum infection and took doxycycline hyc. and had a positive opiate urine test. I am on 65 mg of methadone and have been clean for 3 years until i took this antibiotic.
