Thisis a generic for Septa, it is a combination of two antibiotics.

I was given a Rx for this med for an ingrown hair on my head. I also went for a cat scan and was injected with a dye prior to. The inj. site became inflamed and I am concerned. However I am still on the Sulfam and my redness and swelling has decreased in size along with the soreness subsiding. Do not know if the Sulfam has helped but my ingrown hair is gone and my inj. site has greatly improved. Will monitor and make O/V should it not improve quickly.

i want to know if this medcine name sulfam+ tri is it treated for infection or is it a antibotic? and do it has sulfur in it/ thanks

Yes,sulfam+tri tb is used for an UTI. I am taking this medication now for that.
