Is it safe to take Ciprofloxacin pills white oblong VP 120 in combination with adder all 30mg tablets? also, the Ciprofloxacin expired in 2008. ## The tablets with this marking aren't listed as being Coprofloxacin. They are listed as being a different type of antibiotic that is sold under the name brand Bactrim, which contains the active ingredients Sulfamethoxazole and Trimethoprim. It does not get dangerous, past the expiration date, but it does lose effectiveness, which ups the risk of developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. I am not finding an interactions listed between it and Adderall, but you should really consult a doctor, or pharmacist to be certain and to get a more recent prescription of an antibiotic, if you need it. Is there anything else I can help with?

My dermatologist changed my acne script a week ago to Purbac 480mg 2x daily and my skinny legs are blowing up so that I look like I have elephantitus at about 6pm. I can't remember if these symptoms started with the new pills or before. Could this be a side-effect of Purbac. It is really uncomfortable. ## The swelling which you are reporting appears to be a strong reaction to Sulfamethoxazole (the active ingredient). I'd recommend notifying your doctor / pharmacist, as they may have you discontinue it or put you on something else. Good luck & let me know how it goes!

Reactions with Azithromycin to dronedrone Malpaq), apo lisinopril, Lipitor??? ## Were they all prescribed by the same doctor? The Azithromycin is generally contraindicated with the Dronedarone, because it increased the risk of QT prolongation and cardiac arrhythmia. I'd really advise checking with your doctor, before taking them together.

I was prescribed Levaquin by my primary care doctor for bronchitis. My feet started hurting within the first day, the tendons on the top of my feet, from my ankles to my toes. Four days later, they had been hurting nonstop, I went to get a free orthopedic screening, at the rehab in my health club. They said my pain was probably due to tendon pain caused by my high arches, high domes on my feet, and my shoes. They recommended icing my feet, massage and ibuprofen. Meanwhile I continued my antibiotic not connecting it, at all. A couple days later one thumb, then the other started hurting. I knew this wasn't my shoes. Then a few days later, my head started hurting pretty badly, that is off and on. When I did a search on the internet for 'tendonitis feet, hands, headache', that&#...

terramicina oxitetraciclina what kind of symptons is it used for ## Oxytetracycline hydrochloride is reported to be an active ingredient in Terramicina Oftalmica. Oxytetracycline is used to treat infections of the respiratory and urinary tracts, skin, ear, eye and Gonorrhoea; although the use of Tetracyclines for such purposes has declined in recent years due to large increases in bacterial resistance to this class of drugs. The drug is particularly useful when Penicillins and/or Macrolides cannot be used due to allergy. More information about this drug can be viewed in the link below: I hope this helps!

I'm supposed to take one tablet twice daily until finishing treatment. I was given 23 pills for a urine infection and 15 minutes after taking it I got a rash all over. What should I do? I'm diabetic. ## Have you consulted your doctor? Sulfamethoxazole with Trimethoprim is an antibiotic and a non-allergic skin rash can be a normal side effect, but you should talk to your doctor to determine what type of rash it is. Since it appeared in such a short time frame, it may be an allergy to the medication and you might need to try something else.

Since MRSA is known to be resistant to some specific antibiotics, others must be used to try to eradicate the infection. However, there is no way to say whether or not it will work and cure anyone. That is why MRSA is so problematic. As to what is available to be used in other countries, I am sorry, but I really don't have that information. I found a pill that is white and oval shaped that has 2276 or 2275 imprinted on one side and 93 on the other. What is it? ## Hi Sandy, I was unable to locate a match with the "2276" imprint, but I did however find that the "2275" imprint comes up as the pill you are describing. NOTE: just for verification, the 93 is one side, and on the other side the 22 and 75 are separated by a score line. The imprint "93 22 75" is identified as Amoxicillin (875mg) + Clavulanate (125 mg). This combination results in an antibiotic with an increased spectrum of action and restored efficacy against amoxicillin-resistant bacteria that produce -lactamase. Hope this helps!

I have an UTI causedby beta amyloid protein and by E Coli. I'm aware of the relationship between beta amyloid protein plaque and Alzeimers disease. How did I get this in the bladder? I'm taking macrobid PO because this UTI was resistant to other meds . ## There are several ways that such an infection can occur, but most commonly it is spread from the anus towards the urinary tract, by improper wiping, when using the bathroom. Have you spoken to your doctor about methods for future prevention?
