The Dr. or the pharmacy neglected to tell me that you are not supposed to take antacids with this med. When I got Home I read the paperwork and the warning was also on the bottle. I have to take antacids 2x a day for my GURD. I stopped taking the antacids. What would happen if I had take my regular doses of antacids. ## If you take it with regular antacids, such as the calcium based ones like Tums, it can cause less of the medication to be absorbed, so it isn't as effective. With Ciprofloxacin, you should make sure to take these types of antacids 6 hours away from the antibiotic. This doesn't apply, however, if you are taking some other type, such as the proton pump inhibitors that are sold as generics, as well as under name brands like...

I have pink eye will this medicine Sulfameth/tmp DS tab help it? ## From what information I could gather, most of the cases of pink eye are viral rather than bacterial. In this instance, topical (eye drops) would be a better choice to oral medications in my opinion. If however your pink eye is bacterial, then Sulfameth/tmp DS will work to treat the symptoms. You'd generally have to see your doctor though to test if it is caused by bacteria or not and make your decision based on his or her findings. In the meantime it may be in your best interest to turn to natural home remedies to help with any irritation symptoms. Some of these options are listed below: Warm water compresses helps in pink eye. Can you use Amoxicillin and Stayhist together? ## Hi June, Based on my research there are no drug interactions found between Amoxicillin and Stahist. This does not necessarily mean no interactions exist, but my sources state that every effort has been made to ensure that the information provided is accurate. With that said, I would personally deem it safe to take these two medications together. Stahist does have an interaction with grapefruit juice however, which states that: "the coadministration with grapefruit juice may delay the absorption and increase the bioavailability of oral scopolamine (one of the active ingredients in Stahist). The proposed mechanism is delay of gastric emptying as well as inhibition of CYP450 3A4-mediated first-pass metabolism in the gut wall induced by ...

What is the dosage for a 35 year old female 170lbs of pentrexyl I have white bumps on my talsels really hurts please help ## Did you mean on your tonsils? Have you consulted a doctor? There are several possibilities that there may be white, painful bumps on your tonsils. The first would be an infection and, if that is the case, then an antibiotic such as Ampicillin may help. However, it could also be due to oral thrush, which is a type of yeast infection and, if that is the case, then an antibiotic is not effective and could make it worse. Thus, you need to consult a doctor to determine what the diagnosis is and what the proper treatment would be.
