I have staphyococcus dr gave me nitrofurantn how long before i can see good results ## If it's responding to the antibiotic, there shouldn't be any worsening after 24 hours and you should start to see some gradual improvement in 3 days. I'm having constritures of my tendons in ankles is this normal. Felt like tendon was as tight as rubberband and going to break for like ten mins. My daughter has had frequent urinal infections so the doctor prescribed Gramaocef-O (Cefixime) 100 mg a day. She is having some stomach problems while taking the medicine. Cephalexin 500mg caps nov didn't upset my stomach the way apo cephalexin 500mg (orange tablet) does. What is difference and are both as effective? ## They are the same medication, in the same dosage, just manufactured by different companies, so they are both equally effective. i took this drug for three months and have severe pain in hands, ligaments of something, my fingers lock in place and have to be manually released. i wake up because of the pain. it is not in all fingers but the ones affected are extremely painful. pain meds for cancer /radical hystercomy and lymph node removal don't help. is there a class action suit? my cancer center told me to see a dr. about this problem, but i cant afford one ## I am very sorry that you are suffering. I have been taking doxycycl hyc 100mg for about 2 yrs now. I have also had ringing of the ear about that long. I have a cut on my leg and my Dr gave me Bactrim Ds for Cellulitis infection. Is this the correct med for treating CELLULITIS? ## Hi Marie, Most of the time, Cellulitis treatment involves antibiotics taken by mouth and is later followed-up by your doctor. You could also be given painkillers if necessary. Bactrim is a pretty serious antibiotic, so I think it would be vital to use it over other options when the situation absolutely calls for it. About two weeks ago I thought I got bitten by mosquito's in the back of my knee but as the days past the bites started to itch like crazy and is now they are the size of a dime, swollen and scabbed over but still itch, I also have noticed that I have tinnier bites in different places on my body. This looks like penicillin but it has nothing on the reverse side. It is white and round. It has PVK in capitals, a bevelled score through the middle and 250 under the lineN, but there is nothing at all on the back. ## If you've been searching the pill identifiers online, those are mostly only relevant to the U.S. and since that's not where you are located, this one wouldn't be listed in them. However, with that marking, from what I can find, it is indeed a 250mg Penicillin tablet, that's used to treat various types of infections. Learn more Penicillin details here.
