I have been prescribed apo sulfatrim for a bladder infection - 2 pills a day for 5 days - have taken only 3 so far. I am having copious amounts of gas and feel nauseous. My face also felt on fire - not flushed though. Generally feel unwell. Is this a reaction or the bladder infection? ## I am on this drug right now Anna. Ok so i used tho medication and got what i would like to think is a yeast infection. Thick white skimpy discharge but without the smell or itch. And i went to my GYN and was testednegative for everything but e coli wwhich was why i took it. But now there is this discjarge so i am now using an over the counter 3 day monistat to hopefully clear the symptoms and side effects of the medication. ## There was an ointment that my mother would use when we would get a cut or blister or anything that might get infected. This was before antibiotics or antibacterial. It was coal black and smelled slightly of tar or sulphur. She would apply the ointment and bandage the cut and leave for a few days. I just started taking Clindamycin and I'm on my third day. And Cefuroxime Axetil was recently prescribed to me this day after routine check up. I really forgot to mention I was taking it Clindamycin for Acne. So I'll finish my drug regimen first with Clindamycin and then Cefuroxime Axetil After. Although they have different uses.
