I just need to know do you have to take the Amoxicillin before getting your tooth pulled ## Hello, Synethia! How are you doing? Why are you afraid to take it? It's just an antibiotic to prevent an infection. And no, not everyone has to take it before getting dental work done, it depends on your medical history. For instance, people with heart valve diseases or who have had valves replaced will usually need to take it.

Can Sulfameth Tmp Ds Tab Be Stop After a Two Day Use period And Started Again A Week Later? My cold symptoms left within 36 hours but i was having a very difficult time urinating. Just dribbling about 8 times over night. That's why I stopped the meds. urination problem ceased. ## Sulfamethoxazole with Trimethoprim is an antibiotic, it is used to treat infections and is not effective against the virus that causes colds. The urinary issue is also liable to recur, if it was caused by this medication. Have you consulted your doctor? ## I took sulfamethoxaxole twice a day. Then I went on vacation and forgot to take it for about four days. I finished the rest of the bottle when I got home. Can this cause my period to be late?

If I'm allergic to Bactrim, can I take glucosamine sulfate, methylsulfonylemethane, hyaluronan, boswellia serrata, white willow bark, turmeric root extract, cayenne. (All the ingredients found in Instaflex) ## Hello, Zory! How are you? One is a drug and the other is an over the counter supplement, which means the supplement really hasn't been evaluated to see if it may cause problems with certain allergies. Since there are some sulfa based ingredients, there is chance that you could react to it, if it was the Sulfamethoxazole in the Bactrim that you're allergic to, thus it would be best to check with your doctor, before taking it. Is there anything else I can help with?

My daughter was given to take 2 1/4 tspoon 2 times per day for 10 days of 250 mg of amoxicillin, is that normal? Or is it too much? ## At that age, it's usually dosed according to body weight and severity of the infection, so you should follow the doctor's prescribing instructions. It may cause some side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Ok I will follow the directions thank you :)

Hi I'm 34 weeks and 5 days pregnant, I took one dose of this medicine this far for a UTI and I've never heard of this medicine before. Is this safe to take for my baby? I am supposed to take this 2x a day for 5 days, I received the medicine today and took one pill thus far, I get nervous about what I'm putting into my body; this was prescribed to me by my OB/GYN but I didn't know that there were restrictions in regards to pregnant women taking this medicine. ## Hello, Miranda! How are you? I started taking a 10 day prescription for Nitrofurantoin at 6 months pregnant for a UTI almost 4 weeks ago. Eight or nine days into taking it, my heart rate went up to 173. For about 14 hours it fluctuated above 145. Three days after that went away, I got a pressure headache that felt like someone was squeezing my head and broke out in hives. A few days following that I ended up having severe joint and muscle pain, stiff ankles, my heels feel like they are on fire. And I CANNOT walk! The pain is excruciating. It hurts to sit, stand, and especially walk. The headache went away, the rapid pulse, and the rash is getting better, but the tremendous joint pain remains. It hurts so bad at times I just cry! I pray that the baby is ok. I usually use cranberry extract and natural cures, but this...

Augmentin is not a separate ingredient, it is the name brand for a medication that contains two ingredients, Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid and yes, they are both intermingled throughout. For verification, this tablet is manufactured by NorthStar Rx LLC. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Amoxicillin + Clavulanate Potassium Details I'm not sure why anyone would try to hide an antibiotic in their dresser, but I hope this information helps!

I seek an alternative to above-named Rx aka Bactrim for acne purposes. Thank you for your suggestions. ## Well, the one that's most commonly used now is Doxycycline. Bactrim isn't actually recommended for it, because it tends to cause dangerous allergic reactions in too many people. Is there anything else I can help with?

can you take penicillian vk 500grm with a lactose solution for constipation ## Hello, Billie! How are you? You should double check with your doctor or chemist, but most likely no. Taking it at the same time you take the lactose solution could result in your not actually absorbing the antibiotic, it may move through your GI tract too fast. Is there anything else I can help with?
