I have a prescription of Amox/k clav 875-125 that I was giving for an ear infection. I have about half the bottle left, now months later I have white puss on my throat which looks to b strept. Anyone on Dificid for c-diff? Is it working for you? How are the side effects and how long does it take to work? This is possibly my second c-diff infection and I'm waiting for the test results. I was just diagnosed with folliculitis by my family doctor an he put me on keflex and my dermatologist has me putting flouocinolone acetonide on it. Is this normal? ## Hi George, From what I could gather, folliculitis is reported to be a common type of skin condition (usually caused by a bacterial or fungal infection) in which the hair follicles can become inflamed. So it makes sense to me why you were prescribed an antibiotic such as Keflex (cephalexin) for the infection as well as Fluocinolone acetonide, which is a topical corticosteroid mainly used for reducing skin inflammation and itching. This combination of meds would essentially be attacking the folliculitis from both angles, and in my opinion, seems like an appropriate course of action. I hope this helps!

I need some help. I have a kidney infection. I have been on methadone for 18 years. I have been told that you can't mix the two together. They said it would put me in withdrawal as it would kill the methadone in me. If anyone knows about this I would appreciate it very much. ## I would also like to know if you can take Methadone and Ciprofloxacin mixed together? ## What kinds of pharmaceutical drugs cannot be mixed with ciprofloxacin? ## Can I take ciprofloxacin if I have kidney stones? ## I am also on methadone but I only take 5 mg a day which is nothing. If you take a higher dose I would probably not take ciprofloxacin, but if you're on a pretty low dose it's fine. I am on Cipro about every two months because of UTIs.

Is ciprofloxacin available over the counter in Mexico? It's my antibiotic of choice for my semi-frequent UTIs, and I would like to start keeping a small stock on hand so that I don't have to take it to the gyno every single time. I know someone out there knows what I'm talking about. Thanks. ## I am in the same boat as you and I just ordered a Cipro online. It came from India and I'm trying to find out if it is the same as what the doctor prescribes. it is orange in color not white. But an answer to your question yes I am sure they carry them in Mexico so stock up because I understand what a pain it is to have to go to the doctor every time :) good luck

I recently had cataract surgery and developed corneal abrasions afterwars, which were extrely pàinful. My eye surgeon ordered me doxycycline NYC 100. I have been on it for close to a month. He has indicated I should coniue on it for another month. I also have Fuchs endothelial dystrophy. I have been diagnosed with cellulitus on the inner side of my left leg at the ankle. Several years ago my ankle was severely broken and I spent 3 weeks in the hospital most of which was waiting for the swelling to go down enough that doctor could replace and fix the bone damage and close without having to use a halo device.One of the unfortunate side effects was poor circulation of the area. I have had the symptoms and low grade fever of the cellulitus since the 14th. My doctor was not in on the 17th and his NFP diagnosed it and wanted to send to the DR for IV antibiotics. I don't currently have insurance and didn't want to incur the expense. So I waited tell doctor was back on the 20th. He prescribed Keflex saying it spread anymore or the fever rose above 100 I would have to go...
