My doctor has prescribed Delzicol 400 mg capsules 3 capsules 4 times daily for 13 weeks however everywhere I look online including the manufacturers website and the FDA state it should be 2 capsules 3 times daily for 6 weeks. Are these used in dealing with pain from a toothache? ## From what I could gather, Teva 149 is identified as Naproxen (500 mg). This medication probably wont aid in curing a tooth infection, but I believe it should help alleviate any pain that may be associated with it. allergic to diclofenac can i take chlorzoxazone ## Hi rich, From what I could gather, Chlorzoxazone is in a class of medications called skeletal muscle relaxants. Diclofenac on the other hand, is listed as a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). So if you are allergic to one, there shouldn't be any problems using the other, since they are not the same type of medication. I would however recommend discussing this with your Dr first, just to be on the safe side; as some people may be allergic to more than one type of substance. My mother has had radiotherapy, and now there is swelling in her face near the cheeks . Her doctor has prescribed Emanzen D. Will this treat the swelling? ## Emanzen-D contains Diclofenac and Serratiopeptidase, they are both types of anti-inflammatories. I am 29 and took 2 days of a 3 day nitrofur macr prescription. I woke up with severe pain (muscle and joint pain) in my legs from the bottom of my feet to my hips. The pharmacist told me to stop taking the meds...my question is, how long might i continue feeling this effect? it has been over 36 hours since my last dose. My brother has been diagnosed with shingles and has no health insurance to cover His prescriptions which he cant afford. He was prescribed predesone, percocet, and zovirax. Can it cause asthma like symptoms? As my relative takes high blood pressure and gemer1 and has suddenly developed very serious breathing problems and sometimes she's ok and it starts suddenly then may stop without medications or may need IV's for laxis, hydrocortisone, aminophiline together. ## What have the doctors said is causing it? If its genuine asthma, then that would be due to allergies and if she were allergic to the medication, it would happen every time she took it and most likely worsen with time. Has she been tested for allergies?

i am a student of medical i want to know nimesulide is safe in pregnancy? ## No; it's contraindicated in pregnancy and should be taken with caution in lactating females. If you have any pain then go for paracetamol. Nimesulide is one of the best pain management drug but due to certain side effects all advantages are outweighed by side effects like hepatotoxicity and bad effect on kidney. If you have GI problems, hpersentivity, ulcers, bleeding problem, kidney and liver problem please avoid this medicine. And it's also not safe for children below 12.
